Indeed, the tournament threads have been fun. I like the tought of the best movie or character, but it'd be just impossible to get a really accurate field. There are so many countless great ones. We could never satisfy everyone with just one thread, unless it's 128, ha. I guess, we could do a leftover tournament for the other movies and songs that don't make each respectable first tournament - like the way the second battle of the bands was done. I'd like to start one of those new tournament threads. Of course, it'd be impossible to appease everyone, but I'd definitely take a lot of suggestions. Yes, that would be classic. I'd push for the Andria Doria to go all the way. Wow, that really is a great idea. We need to get that one done eventually. We're almost to that point. I say we need a few more, though.
That's actually not a bad idea although I would rather see a fast food restaurant one instead of item as items could be too specific and obscure for most people to know about them.
The problem is there aren't 64 different fast food restaurants. I'm also going to do item mainstays. No "limited time only" stuff. I'm also going to do only Texas Chains. Any other suggs?
Yea, probably not 64 fast food places but if you include places like Red Lobster, Applebee's, TGI Fridays, Fuddruckers, etc. - you could do one on restaurants (including the fast food places). But the item thing should be interesting, but wouldn't you have more than one item from the same place - like Chicken McNuggets and Quarter Pounder (for example)?
Yup. I'll need to do a little research, but I'm pretty sure I can find 16 fast food places, and then do four items from each for fairness.
