    Gotta be Bird.

86 had Bird, Parish, McHale, MJ, Magic, Worthy, Kareem, Moses, Barkley, Ewing, Stockton, Malone, Drexler, Erving, Walton, Isiah and Dream.

Maybe Wilt in 68, but probably Bird in 86 (Ew and Karl were rookies that year). Great call.

Not counting 2003, 2004, and 2005, how many NBA champions didn't have a top 50 player on the roster?

Without Googling and just off the top of my head. Id say probably Only the Supersonic team of the late 70s and also didnt the Bullets win one in the 70s.

That would be my guess as to the only two.

I dunno, is Dennis Rodman a top 50 player of all time?

I understand he was an undersized center, who grabbed alot of boards. But outside of that he did nothing else well. He had more seasons averaging less then double digits points then he had. He has a lifetime 10ppg game average, and blocked about 1/2 a block per game. His passing stats are ok, acutally not to shabby, but nothing extrodinary.

Like I said, what a joke Wes made the all time 50.

Wes Unseld's rebounding provided to the Bullets what Ben Wallace's defense provides to the Pistons.

And his offense, ie passing, setting picks, hitting the open 12-15 footer. He defended hard, and well. And the man was a leader.
