Every time i download a video on uTorrent only the sound plays. I don't get any video. Windows Media Player usually says something along the lines of "error downloading codec". Anyone know what program I need to download to be able to watch these videos? I remember a long time ago I had to download WinRar in order to watch something but that was only a trial period. I want something free btw.

you are missing a codec most likely for dixv.

Google divx codec and download a free one.

VLC player...and if you watch .rm files, Real Alternative

That mostly what you need to watch stuff online.

You're most likely missing the xvid codec. It's the codec of choice for the majority of pirated tv/movies, as well as our very own R2k.

Seriously, I have yet to come across any video that VLC can't play.

    Good stuff, VLC.
