Any chance anyone could create or provide a torrent for today's Astros game? I had to listen to most of it on the radio, and I missed most of the 9th - 18th innings due to church. Unbelievable win! Definitely one for the archives!
i'm buying this game off MLB.com if they have it all lol as ****ty as the quality of all their mlb.com games are, it's worth having it nonetheless
The game is up for sale. The games are only $3.95. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/video/dds_sell.jsp
HMM, a clever strategy lol edit: lol, mine as well redownload game 5 of last year's NLDS, still have it available to download from mlb.com :]
a torrent would be very nice....1 of the greatest sports games ever...Id put this up there with tmacs game winner last year in post season and the super bowl here in houston.
Question. Am I on crack or can you not fast forward these files? Do I really have to wait 6 hours to witness the game winning homer?
^adds to reason why he doesn't like MLB.TV's DRM/non-fastforwardable downloads They're nice and all, but I'd rather do my own, thanks.
Yea, screw that MLB crap. We'll wait till R2K or the great video mixers on Clutch BBS to make up a highlight reel of one of the greatest baseball games in Astros history.
nWo: Oh believe you me, I am working on it...I just got unlucky yesterday as my sister left home right before I called her, so she wasn't able to change the end time on the game 4 for my DVR. It ended at 4, which was about 7 innings too short... I swear I'm gonna end up posting this in every thread I see related to game 4 video... Does ANYONE have this on their DVRs...that could either capture it on their PCs or even Record it to a VHS tape. Anyone?
I started DVRing after the Ausmus home run, but stopped and deleted it in the 15th or so because I obviously jinxed our offense!
Thank you Miguel in advance for your hard work. Haven't seen R2K post in any of the threads...wonder where he is?
MLB.tv isn't DivX. It's Windows Media Video. I think WMP9 or WMP10 don't fast forward it correctly. I remember it not working for me at some point. I have Astros vs Braves game 3 from last year (I was at the game). Video quality is...well, not as good as I can come up with, but for 4 bucks with only having to wait a few hours and no actual work, it's great. I on the other hand, had set aside time every night to start recording to PC then encoding to XviD, and like I said, I have games 1-3 done, and I'm working on the first half of game 4. I have found a pretty decent setting that is a little over burning a game to CD, but can easily fit a 5-7 game series (well, maybe not "easily" with a 7 game series) on a DVD for future viewing (burned as DVD Data, not DVD video) Anyone?
when u download it, what file is it? Is it real player? WMA? Just wondering so i can convert it to a DVD EDIT: damn u Miguel, answering my question right when i posted it
