I don't get Toronto's plan. Since their plan was to bring in Nash, their window is 2-3 years max. Instead of picking Ross (shooter) with their 8th pick, why didn't they offer their pick for Martin (elite shooter/scorer) and one or two of our other assets? Valanciunas Bargnani Derozan Martin Nash + 2 of our assets instead they reach for their guy when they could've even traded down 12+18 for 8 and still have gotten their guy, and then offer Fields a contract just to spite the NYK/PHX s&t possibilities.
