i dont know they could have selected Roy and tried to pair him up with Bosh which would have been a far more balanced and effective combo.

The taller AB was going to be a project and is starting to show signs of being a productive player but you have the #1 overall pick you want to risk that on a project when you already had Bosh? Just one of the many mistakes by the Toronto front office

At the time, pairing Bosh and Barg was a pretty good idea. Barg could give Bosh space down low. It didn't workout cause Toronto wasn't very good in general.

The dude is still pretty young and will only get better.

Colangelo's Euroleague super team experiment has been a miserable failure. I think Dirk Nowitzki's success made every idiot exec think that a 7 foot European with a jumpshot can play like Dirk.

Actually, it's pretty easy to get by Bargnani.

I am sorry, but having Bosh down low was a poor idea by Raptors management.

Bosh was never strong enough to go up against centers consistently in the low post. They needed somebody else to be in the low post. If the the opposing center is rail thin, then Bosh can work the guy over. Bosh can just shoot jumpers, and have another big deal work the middle. I thought Aldridge or Roy would have fit better.

The whole draft was pretty weak compared to other drafts though.
