If this is somewhat successful in the US, maybe we can finally get a Top Gear on tv over here. If you want more reason to hate NBC, they filmed a pilot of a US version with Adam Carolla but they decided to trust a focus group that was probably made up of the same idiots who hated Seinfeld and opted to not pick up the show (they've locked it away as well so that nobody can see it just in case it was really good and they'd have to face criticism for not giving it a shot). I'm sorry NBC, but I have a job and can't show up at malls in the middle of the day on a weekday to watch tv shows and movies for free and give my opinion.
meh, I don't want an american version. I really like the cast of the british version and would prefer not to sully the reputation. Adam Corolla would definitely sully.
