I saw 17 of the 50 listed. 2 were top-notch. 1 was great. 7 were good. 4 were just okay. 3 were utter crap.
Holy $hit. I saw All of Them I am a total loser. Am I that shallow that I saw the fifty, FIFTY, top grossing films of a single year? Did I really average at least one movie per week? And damn. There are others I saw as well. I suck. Chance PS biggest suprises from the list, in no order... 1. The Fast and the Furious 2. Shrek 3. Spy Kids 4. Legally Blonde 5. Freddy got fingered Chance okay, I was kidding about the Freddy got fingered thing. I, uh, didn't even see it. Honest.
I saw 17 of them...all but one on video. 5 were way over-rated imo 3 I really enjoyed 3 I would watch over and over 6 just plain out sucked Guess I need to get out more huh?
I saw 47 of them...skipping Save the Last Dance, Atlantis, and Exit Wounds. Swirve.com's top 10 of the year will not be released until the 18th so I can see Black Hawk Down.
A.I. was a waste of time and money----but loving medieval period pieces (don't understand it myself) I just grooved to a Knights Tale.
That **** looks scary...there's a lot I need to see that I think might be on my list...Amelie, The Shipping News, a few others...
I've seen 14 off the list. Generally, my interest in a movie is inverse to the mainstream hype that it receives. Of the ones on the list that I saw, only LOTR, Crouching Tiger, and The Others were really excellent. A few others, like Shrek and The Score, were enjoyable. Amelie is really good, by the way.
11 at the theatre (4 I want to go see) 2 on computer ( from Morpheus ) still have 5 more downloaded I need to watch. 3 on DVD (rentals) 1 on HBO
10. Rat Race was the best. That was the funniest movie I've ever seen. Have you all seen The Majestic? It's pretty good. I saw it yesterday.
Oh, YOU were the one who liked it. Funniest ever? Wow...that's pretty strong. I almost walked out. Try It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World to see that premise done correctly. OS
I was going to see The Shipping News; I really liked the book. But the movie is getting bad reviews, and my friends refuse to see it.
