Who are your Top 10 Players in the NBA? Take in account Age, Game, whatever you want please explain Rocket River I'm trying to think of mine
1. Dwyane Wade - Team player, gets to the basket at will 2. Dirk Nowitzki - Mismatch, brings it every game 3. Kobe Bryant - Ultimate scorer 4. LeBron James - Mr. Everything 5. Steve Nash - Controls the team 6. Yao Ming - Dominant center 7. Chauncey Billups - Clutch 8. Elton Brand - Wrecked the Suns but wasn't enough 9. Shaquille O'Neal - Dominant center #2 10. Tim Duncan - Still has it, but not as much
In no order except for Duncan... Duncan, McGrady, Kidd, Kobe, Wade, Dirk, Lebron, Nash, Yao, Ben Wallace oh no my bad, forgot all about AI.
FOr last year, so I left off McGrady. In no order: Kobe Lebron Nash Iverson Brand Duncan Dirk Yao Garnett Wade
1. Duncan (still the best may be for another season. Age:30) 2. Kobe (everyone hates him but no one can deny he's good. Age:27) 3. Wade (watch his 4th quarter performance in tonight games. Age:24) 4. Lebron (needs playoff success to dethrone Duncan. Age:21) 5. Tmac (top three if 100% healthy. Age:27) 6. Dirk (leader of the best team in NBA. Age:27) 7. Nash (he's the Suns and he makes everyone around him better. Age:32) 8. Yao (best center and still improving. A beast in the making. Age:25) 9. Shaq (his presence can still affects the outcome of a game. Age:34) 10. Garnett (top five if only the regular season counts. Age:30) . . . 11. Brand (have to mention him because he is that good. Age:27)
1) Kevin Garnett 2) Lebron James 3) Tim Duncan 4) Dwyane Wade 5) Dirk Nowitzki 6) Steve Nash 7) Kobe Bryant 8) Elton Brand 9) Yao Ming 10) Allen Iverson Fallen Off: Shaq, T-Mac Rising Up: Arenas, CP4, Bosh, and Dwight Howard.
Chauncey Billups?...dude come on. 1. T-Mac Total package. Does the extra things that others on his level can't do. Defends better than LeBron, Involves teammates better than Kobe, Better shooter and defender than Wade, 4th qtr killer unlike KG. When he gets healthy and we get a real team around Yao and Tmac, the world will see. 2. Kobe Unstoppable scorer, intense as hell defender. Every move imaginable. Still needs to learn to find that medium game to include his teammates more at the right times. 3. Duncan Best low post player in the league. Plays on both ends of the floor, fundamentally sound. Free throws hinder him but he has made his case to be considered the greatest PF of all time. 4. Garnett Duncan with range but not the low post moves. Still an excellent defender, defers too much in the crunch. I think he looks to find the open man too much for that last shot...is it fear or unselfishness? 5. LeBron When he learns to lock down--he will leapfrog everybody. Needs to work on his shooting as he is too inconsitant in his technique. Shot selection is also questionable. 6. Wade Turnover machine, poor long range shooter. You can't have your best wing player giving you 8-10 turnovers a night, needs to work on his handles in traffic and add some more range so his body doesn't have to take a beating from driving through traffic. 7. Dirk Can't hate no more, well i can hate but i can't ignore it. He is not unguardable, but he is still a nightmare for opposing PF's. His defense is still marshmellow, but his huge rebounds this playoff season makes up for it. Rediculous touch for a seven footer. 8. Yao The beast is emerging, assortment of post moves, big rebounder, aggressive (finally!), but with a feathery touch to punish from out to 18ft. Best Center in the league. 9. Brand Traditional low-post PF can hurt you in many ways. His development of the outside J has given his offense a dimension Karl Malone didn't add until late into his career. Supreme shot-blocker. 10. Shaq Still unstoppable, still unguardable. But more of a liability than ever. Good for a great game every third night, but when he's on, he's on.
1. Kobe Bryant 2. Dirk Nowitzki 3. LeBron James 4. Tim Duncan 5. Dwayne Wade 6. Kevin Garnett 7. Allan Iverson 8. Elton Brand 9. Steve Nash 10. Tracy McGrady
Wade is good, but he is not top 5 like most of you are ranking him. I think you guys are still high from his play tonight.

But needs dogs on the court around him, has improved as a player and brings it every night, but he needs more toughness on his team.
i like wade. i hope he scores 60 every game and the heat take the series just so dallas never gets a ring, but he's not a top 5 player. i'd take lebron/kobe/t-mac over him in a second just looking at wings. my top ten in no order cause really could you go wrong if you picked any of these guys first? t-mac lebron kobe wade dirk yao duncan garnett nash brand i'd have shaq and iverson in my next group.
Here is how I build my team. Steve Nash - He is the ultimate point guard. Bonzi Wells - He is a great pure shooter. Shane Battier All around player. Pau Gasol He is unreal talent. Ben Wallace He is awesome. Off the bench: Earl Boykins Mike Miller Boris Diaw
Your username applies to your post here. WHAT? What on Earth are you talking about? Unless those are your top players in the league (which, if they are, you're on crack and don't watch seemingly anything other than Grizzlies Basketball), this post has absolutely nothing to do with the thread...
Lebron Wade Dirk Kobe Yao Nash AI Duncan Arena Thats 9 for sure 10th one could be Tmac, Shaq, bosh, Jermine, Paul, and others.
I respect your opinion but this thread is about the top ten players in the league. Why are you telling us the players you want to be on your team? And I am curious why you want to build your team with three players who played major roles in the infamous 0-12 playoff record of the Grizzlies in the last three seasons. You'd think an 'unreal talent' would at least win one playoff game for his team in 12 tries, right? Get real.
1) Lebron James 2) Kobe Bryant 3) Yao Ming 4) Dirk Nowitski 5) Tim Duncan 6) Kevin Garnett 7) Steve Nash 8) Dwayne Wade 9) T-mac 10) Elton Brand
