Maybe, as Big Ben should not be on it.

Any list of this type without Adonal Foyle at #1 is completely invalid. Dude is making more than 9 million (on average) for the next 3 seasons. He got paid $18,000 per minute he played last year. He's 32. He's never even averaged 6 points per game...and he did this...

"Players who have been bought out are not be eligible, though. That spares the likes of Steve Francis and Adonal Foyle. "

He is out of the league now- but Derrick coleman was overpaid for many seasons. Glen Rice is out of the league- but the Rockets paid him nearly 10 mil per season

Raef LaFrentz, Blazers. After he played just 17 games for the Celtics in '03-'04, LaFrentz wrote an open letter to Celtics fans, apologizing for his lack of productivity. That was nice of him. Of course, he did not offer to give back any of the millions he was making. He is in Portland now, averaging 3.7 points and earning just under $12 million

On this board I have read posters wanting this guy on the Rockets

Still Rashard has gotta be #1 on that list. He's like 4-5th player by salary in the league!!!And we all know that he isn't worth that much.

Does that mean that most players in the East are overpaid since they probably won't be that good in the West?

No. It means if a player is putting up 25ppg in the NBA its hard to argue that they are overpaid.

no way! juwan doesn't get paid that much per year ($6,883,800) compared to the others to be on the list.

my vote would go to marbury, starbury or whatever name he wants to go by. what team has he played for where he actually made them better?

juwon is the reason for structured rookie contracts and max contracts. he and kevin garnett. its kind of hard to argue that he isn't the all-time over paid player in the league. there are a few others, a houston comes to mind even without the injuries
