    Happy Valentine's Day:

    http://msn.espn.go.com/page2/s/list/heartbreakers.html

    Some of my worst ones:

1993 AFC Divisional Playoffs: Oilers squander a 35-3 lead in the 3rd quarter, and fall to Frank Reich and the Bills 41-38 in OT.
1994 AFC Semifinals: Joe Montana's last stand sends the Oilers home losers after a 12-4 season.
1994 Western Conference Semis: Rockets blow a 20 pt. lead in the 4th quarter to Barkley and the Suns.
1997 Western Conference Finals: Stockton sinks three at buzzer in game 6 to send Jazz into NBA Finals. Never got to see Hakeem vs. Jordan.
1999 NL Division Playoffs: Walt Weiss pulls ridiculous double play, Astros leave bases loaded with no outs.
2001 Red River Shootout: Horns down 7-3, RouY Williams leaps over Brett Robin and sacks Simms, who loses ball. Wilkerson ends up with it. Touchdown OU.
2001 Big 12 Championship: Philip Geiggar roughs punter, putting CU in position for a Jeremy Flores FG. Texas loses 39-37, and misses MNC game.

    Immaculate reception.

Last basketball game this season...1 point lead, 11 seconds left, play set up to inbound ball on their side of court. Play runs, inbounder doesn't even look at wide open best shooter, instead passes to outlet post who gets hacked. 6 seconds left, post misses both free throws, trying to grab board blown calls charges us an over the back. They sink both for a 1 pt lead. 3 seconds left, we get ball to half court, launch the desperation 3, perfect rebound off glass, 1 foot too far left.

I remember that, but can't remember exactly what he did. Anyone mind refreshing my memory?

Bayern Munich losing on two late goals vs. Man U in the Champions League Final (don't remember the year). That sucked royally.

Stockton making the 3 to goto the Finals.
Terps blowing a 22 pt lead in the Final Four of 2001.
Terps blow a 10pt lead with 54 secs left to lose to Duke.

Maybe not in ALL of Sports History, but in my Sports History, those 3 were the absolute worse for me.

    Arkoe,

I can't believe I am rehashing this, but anyways, game 3 NLDS, in extra innings, Astros have a runner on 2nd or 3rd(can't remember). Tough Tony Eusebio at the plate, he swings, it's hit right up the middle, going to be a single. Until Walt Weiss robs him, and ends the inning. If Houston scores they go up 2-1 in the series, and likely get out of the first round for the first time ever.

All inbreeds look alike ;) .

    Sooner toothless!

On a serious note, mduke, I know at one point it was said he may, did he declare for the draft?

Only problem is age may factor in. If you are not 30 or there about you will not remember the UH v. NC St

I agree with the UH-NCS game--that is probably my all-time worst 2 seconds in sports. Dumbass Pitino not fronting Laetter was pretty close heartbreaker too.

    FYI, Willkerson is from Texas.
    :p

And yes, Wilkerson declared for the draft due to personal issues.
