The preview sounds very promising. I guess I'll have to wait until the single is released to radio to hear the full version.
I've got the full version of the song, it should be pretty easy to find as it's going to start getting airplay on Monday. The song kicks ass. I was a little worried about how Tool would sound after so much time off. I love it, can't wait for the album to drop May 3rd.
How does the song sound comparred to the material on Lateralus? Tool is one of those bands, that to me, has gotten better with every record. I happen to think the Lateralus album is a masterpiece.
I just downloaded the entire song........man......I think the wait will be worth it. I can think of very few bands in history that just put out good album after good album. If this first song is any clue, they've out done themselves again. One of the greatest bands ever, period.

APC doesn't do anything for me really, I know they originally wanted a female singer for the group, so Maynard's soft lullaby voice is kind of lame IMO. On the other hand, Lateralus and Aenima are two masterpieces, hopefully this album kicks some ass.
damn, i've tried like 5 diff d-loads of the new tool on limewire, not working. nevertheless, i cant wait for the new tool album. I agree with moes, APC has gone downhill, mer de noms was good, but their getting worse. I heard on a local rock station that rumors were flying that either this is tool's last album and maynard is sticking with APC, or APC is done and maynard is staying with tool? anyone know anything about this?
I just downloaded the full track. Not bad. I used to be a huge Tool fan but they just don't rock as much as they used to. They've really rounded off all the jagged edges and polished their sound too much for my taste, but that Danny Carey is a bad mother ****er.
I actually think thirteenth step is a much better album than Mer de Norms. I didn't at first, but after a few listens I realized what a piece of work it really is. I like APC just as much as I like Tool; it really just depends on my mood.
You know what I'm talking about. Don't deny that you kiss a picture of Derek before you go to sleep every night...
Tool is the greatest band of all time. In honor of the new album we should all post our favorite moments in Tool songs. Mine: "H."
