I would like to know how much you spent as well. I see some upper corner seats going for $55 on stubhub. I have never been to a concert so have no idea if they're even worth it. Music really isn't my thing, but Tool is amazing.
This dude wants clutchfans to help him find tickets but can't answer a simple question to help a fellow member out.
Yes, any seat in the house is worth it for Tool. You might not be able to see the band as well as other down below (or Maynard, ever, since he stands behind them in the dark) but you'll still feel the drums, bass, see the visuals on the screens and the amazing light show. I would NEVER miss Tool. I'm sitting in a suite, but only because it's free. I'd rather be in rows 1-5 of the Club area.
I had some lower bowl tickets I sold for a nice profit. I can tell you what they went for, if you want a typical going rate.
Smoke some drugs and listen to the CD as they will play every song exactly how it is on the CD. The only point to go is the screen show (might be good with TC huge screens) and some weirdos they ship in to dance around.
TC doesn't use the giant screens for events. They raise it because it can block the acts own equipment sometimes.
If you can get some Tool tickets for 55 i would say go for it if you're a huge fan. I wouldn't go past 60 for upper level or 125 lower level if I wasn't a huge fan. I ordered some through the season ticket pre-sale order form and sold them for a decent profit early on.
Umm, they have a giant screen behind the band as well as all of the other screens the road crew brings in that hang towards the ceiling. Have you been to one of their concerts in the past 10 years? Not trying to start a pissing contest, just wondering why you're being so negative?
