I think our backcourt is too small & skinny. Too small & skinny = poor D. Somebody's got to go.

Eh, nobody is perfect. You have players like Battier, Ariza and Lowry to matchup on defense with the opposing front court if it gets THAT bad.

And the other thing to think of, how many teams out there can matchup with both Brooks and Kevin Martin?

As bad as teams can give us matchup problems, we can give them matchup problems on the offensive end as well with our front court.

Not to mention, you get Yao back on the court and suddenly you have 2 players (Brooks and Martin) that are deadly 3 point threats and a few solid 3 point threats (Buddinger, Battier, Ariza). Gone are the days when Battier or Luther Head were are best 3 point threats.

Yep. They're swiss cheese on defense, too. I want Lowry to replace Brooks in the starting line-up.

This isn't the worst topic, but I am starting to get annoyed with your threads.

I kinda agree with the OP though...we do have a small and skinny front court. We need a to buff up our two position. Ariza is skinny too!

Do we have the softest and skinniest starting lineup?
    Brooks.. Skinny
    Martin.. Skinny and soft
    Ariza.. Skinny
Scola.. Not soft or Skinny but falls when you touch him
    Yao.. 'nuff said

There is so much pounding a skinny player like Martin can take when he drives to the basket.

I always feel someone will snap him in half.....

Shaq could fall over one day and squash him...
