Well, the Rockets looked like the Rockets of last year rather than the Rockets of yesteryear. The constant one-on-one rather than team play was detremental last night. Plus, 28 out of 40 FTs isn't entirely awful, but when you realize that if the Rockets went 38 out of 40 FTs last night, they win the game. They did show flashes of brilliance. These guys have got to learn to move the ball around and hit their FTs, or else are are in for a season as long & painful as last year.

RocketMan..I agree, and what is up with Moochie handling the ball in the last part of the game trying to iso on 3 straight plays when this was our best oppurtunty to come back? I like Moochie but I dont want him as our go to guy in crunch time.I`ll chalk this one up to first game jitters and our young guys coming out with alot of emotion {except for Cato} and hopefully we`ll settle down over the next 2 games.

Thats true Rockss. Why was Steve just standing at the 3pt line during crunch time. Steve has to realize this is his team and we need him to score at crunch time.

Juan, I personally thought Taylor played a great game on both ends of the court last night. A lot of Garnett's points came because of his height and his talent, not bad defense.

I don't think our offense was really the problem; our defense should not allow them over 100 points in a game. Specifically, we did a poor job on the boards. I blame Mo Taylor, who, by all accounts, had a good game though I just don't see it. He shot very well, but he had only 4 rebounds, being outrebounded by Francis, Williams, Olajuwon (who played half the minutes Mo did), Mobley, and Norris. I hate to keep riding him, but he's not doing anything to shake his reputation for being soft on the boards. (Unfortunately, Cato was even worse on the boards, though he did only play 22 minutes.)

    Lil Francis,

Steve was standing there, because he realized he had "Acme" stamped on his hands last night.

He was laying so many bricks he could join the union.

Francis should have been on the bench, if he was a smell he would have been a steamy pile of dung.

Hopefully, he will mature faster and learn that it is a team game.
