I'm watching TV. Political ads come on, SIX in a row. I'm pretty disgusted with the political process right now, but when you get hit with four negative ads in a short span? That's just ****ed up. And that doesn't even begin to describe the revulsion at Ben Bentzin's ad about Barrientos. I mean, that was just vile. I can't take it anymore. It's just too much, and its pissing me off. So, from this day forward - no mas. Anyone who runs a negative ad that I see, loses my vote. No questions asked. I'm making a list, and then checking it off on election day. I only have a futile hope that those who choose to run negative ads meet crushing defeat at the polls, but I'll be doing my part to make it happen.
Although I feel your pain, you shouldn't be cavalier. Try to ignore the ads, learn the facts, and vote accordingly.
I agree for the most part but this Sanchez ad on Rick "just let us get down the road" Perry is pretty amusing. Thank goodness for cable tv this time of year.
I keep hearing Dewhurst negative ads against Sharp saying something about Sharp's negative ads against Dewhurst...I've never seen those. This isn't to say that they aren't out there, I'm just surprised I haven't seen them.
I haven't seen Sharp's negative ads either, and since I haven't seen them, he still has my vote. I've only seen two ads for him though - one is the Nolan Ryan ad, and the other is the one where he proposes to use all the lottery money to send kids to college(I think that's a good use for the money).
