Ok, i get that the Rockets are a three point shooting team, but when you are shooting 80-247 so far in the season, the threes start to hurt you. They have yet to hit 10 threes in a game, but will shoot 20 on avg. a game. The tons of three point shots is killing us. Last night they were 6-26!! Kyle Lowry...stop shooting freakin threes! Chase(until he gets his nuts back)should stop hoisting up threes!! If they could convert some of those threes into two pointers, we would currently be over .500. Talk about dying by the three!!

The 3 is the only shots we can get because we have only one post player worth semi-doubling....we have no one who can drive and finish....we have no one who can drive and consistently set up easy baskets for our frontcourt players...and most of all ...they are open shots because its Battier!!!!!!!!

we are shooting way to many threes at a horrible percentage.
long shots lead to long rebounds; these are horrible offensive possessions that lead to easy transition buckets for the opposing team.

It looks more like they are settling for threes. Case in point, last night, Chase finished a fast break by missing an unnecessary three when he could have easily taken it in for two.

Chase Budinger is another scary tale — he simply can’t buy a triple. He was 0-4 from beyond the arc today, meaning he’s now 5-35 (14.3%) from there on the year. This is temporary… Budinger has been too good from three to stay this cold.
Chase must be shell-shocked from that sprained ankle.

there is no creator on the team. three pointer is the only open offense.

Like Rafer, Lowry can not create for himself and his teammates. These so called pure PGs are actually the worst at the PG job.

80 for 247. If we had just hit at 36%, an extra 10 made 3s, what would our record be?

This supports my belief that the weakest link on this team is our SF play. We need a legit shooter out there, especially with Lowry distributing. Remember, when Brooks returns, we are still going to running Battier and Bud out there shooting flat miserable from three. Battier is shooting miserable from all over the floor. At least Bud is getting something inside the three point line. He should eliminate the 3-ball until he gets it together. That leaves us with effectively Lee shooting very mediocre to poorly. We have nothing going on on the perimeter shooting wise outside of Martin until Brooks makes it back.

I hate the 3pt line with a passion!!!!!! They need to remove the 3pt line so players can start on developing the mid-range shot.. Whatever happened to that? Common sense the closer the basket you are the higher the %..... But noooooooooo we always have to be behind the 3pt line..

Psychologically, I think the best move would be to start Chase, tell him to shoot it, and run plays for him to open the game. Let him know we are going to him.....period, make or miss. Get it into his head until he quits thinking and just starts firing. He's a good enough shooter to come out of it. And Shane is totally sucking wind offensively anyways. Chase, on the other hand, can actually finish all those cuts at the basket....and draw fouls.

There's a reason why the rockets are getting open 3's. They can't make them. Opposing teams know this, it seems the rockets are the only ones left without a clue.

On another note, if you're only job is to make wide open threes, you need to make them. I'm talking to you Chase and Shane.

This team is frustrating. Lets go rockets (gets harder to say after every loss)

Our, unexplainable, sudden lack of ability to make threes is probably the most concerning to me.

Not going to win games being a jumpshooting team. They tried to out gun the Suns ( a very good 3pt shooting team) while the Suns continued to take it to the rack. Not good. On a side note, the reffing last night blows!
