What if we were to trade Cat and Eddie G to the Spurs for Tony Parker. This way we could move Stevie to the 2 and get rid of Sir Shots alot and Mr. Intensity. The spurs would get the help the want inside(kind of) and Cat could replace the guards the are going to lose this off season plus they would be able to pursue J. Kidd.

    1) Teams rarely trade key core players within their own division.

    2) That trade greatly favors SA more than it does us.

    3) I would not trade EG or Cat for Parker straight up, much less both of them.

Parker is going to NJ if Kidd decides to go to SA. If Kidd goes to Dallas or *cough* Denver, Parker is not going anywhere. I don't see it at all possible that Parker is not part of the Kidd deal. I could be wrong, only God can count the number of errors I've made today, but Parker's availability does not smell right to me.

I would not trade Cat for Tony Parker.
I would not trade Eddie for Tony Parker.
I would not trade Cat and Eddie for Tony Parker.

Did you watch the Finals?!? Tony Parker sucked! He's a nice young player...........................but what's gonna happen on defense? He's too small to guard anyone. And same with Steve if he moved to the 2!

    NO WAY.
    WHAT A JOKE.

ANYWAYS.....the salaries wouldn't work out....right now, they would. But.....Spurs wouldn't do it anyways.
They have TIM DUNCAN. What's Eddie Griffin for?
Mobley would be good for them though.....if Stephen Jackson and Speedy Claxton left.

    NOPE. NO WAY.

Most people here are underestimating the Cat, people started forgeting that he's talented ball player. Just because he's cheap ( salary) doesn't mean we have to give up on him for any trade mention.

Parker is good, but Cuttino is much better. Eddie would also look good playing next to Whining Duncan.

We would have the worst defensive backcourt EVER! And San Antonio would be set for the next 5-6 years.

Tony Parker is a good PG and young and cheap. Spur would not do it. If Kidd is not going to Spur, Parker will not go anywhere. Even if Kidd goes to Spur, they may keep him.
He played great during the playoff.
