Head to Head, D Will owns CP3 most of the time. Size always matter. CP3 just doesnt have any advantage matchup against D Will. Teams can easily limit CP3 with size and physical defense.

Last meeting, D Will had 29/11 vs CP3's 6/6. Oops!

The Jazz lead the series 2-0. With a win tonite, the Jazz will have the tie-breaker over the Hornets. I wont be surprised the Jazz will finish their season with a better win-loss record than the Hornets.

remember, utah is 6 games below .500 on the road. their previous wins against the hornets were on their home floor. of course, i *gulp* hope the jazz win so we can move up in our division...

oh, and i am officially a kings, clips, sixers, and blazers fan tonight...

Williams will end his career being recognized as the better PG between he and CP3.

    Book it.

Hall of Fame Coach Larry Brown:

Everybody talks about Chris Paul against Deron Williams since they were taken so early in the Draft. A lot of teams thought Paul was the better prospect, but that is always an intriguing matchup for me. They are both two of the best players in the league and now with the way the rules are, if you have point guards that can penetrate, you can’t guard them because of the handchecking rules. You can mug guys inside, but out on the perimeter you can’t guard anybody. Those two guys have a unique ability to not only score the ball themselves, but to make everybody on the court better. In the last game, Williams got 29 points and Paul only got 6, but Paul got in real serious foul trouble. I just love them both. I think Paul might be a little better defender. He may not be nearly as good an outside shooter, but he gets into the paint a little bit better than Williams. If you look at the way Utah plays, they like to run at home a lot more than they do on the road. In the halfcourt, they execute probably as well as anybody in the league. You have to give a lot of that credit to Williams, the way he manages their halfcourt offense. Paul is a little more of a threat in transition and that is the way New Orleans likes to play. They like to run all the time. They haven’t been able to run effectively against Utah so far. But also, Tyson Chandler is they key to me. If he has a big game, New Orleans always has a chance to win.

This has been my position, even though Paul might be better right now.

Both are serious talent who wouldn't look out of place in a Rockets uniform.

Imagine how devastating the PnR would be with Yao!

I'm going for the Hornets to beat the Jazz simply because I dislike the Jazz.

Jerry Sloan is going to tell his team that their grandmothers will play better than them. Down only 13 and play like crap - that's more than lucky.

Hopefully the j*zz can make a comeback and win. We really need Dallas/NO/Suns to keep losing because the Lakers and Spurs are starting to slowly pull ahead and the freaking j*zz get a free pass to the top 5 seeds because the only competition they have is the Nuggests!

Completely disagree. I think Paul is the MVP this thus far and can only grow from here. But I see your point. Williams has "it" as well. I am going to take note of this post. See you in 8-12 yrs.

CP3's had a better season, but you can never underestimate Deron Williams and what he can do in the playoffs. Big guards always win over small guards in the postseason.

CP3 is quicker somewhat and he goes around people because hes so fast but I think Deron is a bit better just because he runs the pick and roll very well and he penetrates better

Chris Paul is, and always will be, better than Deron Williams.

    Book it.
