....at Circuit City. No need to wait on Black Friday, my fellow BBS brothers. The price tag is going to say $249.99, but when they ring it up, it will say $124.99. Bagged 3 up here in Dalassss!!
I'll give you $100 for it.. What CC store was it? They pulled them for Black friday over here at Prestonwood...
I got one at the 75/Meadow store in Dallas...There was only one, but it was at $149...I may go back to the one by my house on Friday morning and see if I can get it at the cheap price...Plus I need another one for a gift...
It was either $124.99 or $149.99 at each CC store. Did you go near closing time? I went around 5...6pm.
If you face the sun in the morning, north is on your left, south on your right. If you face the sun in the afternoon, south is on your left, north on your right. If the sun is then on your right in the morning, you are facing north, and so on... Now, insert an address on the first line of your note pad, next to the phone number you get before you leave, and call them to ask what cross street they are closest to, and if they know which corner (southeast? northwest? etc.) they are on. There, I just saved you all $149 bucks. (btw- I'm just kidding, I used to sell Magellan's back when they were $2500 installed, that's right "hard mounted" to one car, for that price. It's amazing in 7 years how inexpensive this technology has become. I sold the first 2 in the DFW market according to Magellan's rep, fwiw... whooo hoo.)
Dude, lighten up. Did you not see my edit about a minute before you went "directionally unholier than thou?" But seriously... I've survived all this time and never been lost... so whatever. And I put miles on cars like nobody's business. The sarcasm was fine, btw. ( a lot of my posts' points are in the parenthesis... which means usually, no parenthesis, no point )

That is for the Magellan Maestro 3100 GPS Navigation System. This poster from GottaDeal.com reviewed all the GPS units that are being sold on BF. Here's what he had to say about the Magellan: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=87388 ~~Magellan Maestro 3100~~ Screen: 3.5" with 4:3 aspect ratio, 320x240 pixels, POI: only 750K (very few) Maps: 48 contiguous states GPS Type: SiRFstar III Pros: It can handle multi-stop trips (like the Mio units), "The windshield mount is long enough that the Maestro isn't too far away from the driver. Some other GPS devices ship with mounts that are too short, and place the GPS too close to the windshield." Cons: Only 750K POIs (Points of Interest) -- are they kidding? -- no GPS being offered on BF has fewer POIs!, It's apparently difficult to remove the device from the vehicle mount., Also "While maps were readable, we thought the color was a bit washed out and wished there was a little more contrast. Lowering the screen's brightness helped slightly, but it wasn't quite up to par with some other systems we've seen."
You can get it online at Best Buy right now: TomTom One LE It's the LE edition, other people claim it's better then the regular one. I don't know, and didn't bother to do any personal research. I just tried to get one before they went out of stock. $120 + tax (free shipping)
sold out. I got the tom tom 3rd edition from the circuit city website. I have to drive to Humble to pick it up though.
yeah i dont like tom tom. garmin and magellin are much better. if you're gonna spend $130, i'd much rather get http://www.compusa.com/products/pro...neral&cm_ite=Primary&=guidt&1=&ref=performics for 147 or this for $300. i have this one, and it's everything you'll ever need then some. the updates are really good http://www.compusa.com/products/pro...neral&cm_ite=Primary&=guidt&1=&ref=performics
