It may have been the first game that Francis played in Canada and the fans were throwing batteries and ice and stuff at him on the court and sidelines. ------------------
I didn't hear it but maybe it was referring to the fact that the Canadian police charged Marty McSorley(sp?) for hitting that other player with his hockey stick and he could Rudy could have used the Canadian police for that attack from Kermit Washington. Just a guess but sounds like Rome humor. ------------------
The incident with Kermit Washington you are referring to happened in the US not Canada. Why would the canadian police have anything to do with that?
