Incredible show. Stunning. "Tom Traubert's Blues", "Innocent When You Dream", "Day After Tomorrow" and "Down in The Hole" were the highlights for me. The man is a genius.

On top of that, I saw more tatooed women in one place than I have ever seen in my entire life!

Sound off CC.Net-ers...who was there last night?

My night didn't turn out like I had planned. My friend, who purchased the tickets said he would get both pairs when they went on sale, a pair for him and his girl and a pair for my wife and I who were treating the tickets as an 11th Anniversary gift to each other. He said he got both pairs and we were set for last night.

We met at his house and took his car to Jones. We went up to the ticket taker with the cc reader and his tickets blipped right through and ours were denied. He went to the ticket window to find out why, and because of the paperless ticket policy for the show, only one pair of tickets were allowed per address to the show. His girl had just moved in with him and changed her address, so even though the tickets were purchased with different cards, the address was the same and one pair was voided. He was a much bigger Waits fan than I, so there I stood outside at 8 with no tickets and no ride home until the show was over.

We took the $200 dollars we had planned on spending on Tom to Cabo and sat out on the patio and smoked cigars and drank top shelf drinks until they closed. We met two guys there from New York, who were in town to work the ZZ Top show at the Hard Rock tonight. We talked to them for most of the time. They offered us and our waitress VIP passes into the show tonight if we could make it. We couldn't but our waitress will be there tonight. Have fun Carmen!

At 10:00 we wandered back over to Jones and hung out at the tables out front. When the show let out - you are absolutely correct about the tattooed ladies RMT. They were matched only by the number of hats worn to the show. It also looked like a lot of fathers took their sons too.

I finally saw my friend and the four of us headed back to his house so my wife and I could head home. He got me a shirt, so at least I got something from the show...

I got to have a kick ass time with my wife no matter what, so I had a good night. :D :D :D
