Should've taken Kareem Rush. He's been playing pretty good for the lakers.

Seriously. It is giving me a headache already with all these "proposed trades" or we "should have taken Mr. X." Can we please atleast go a quarter of the way through the year before we evaluate ourselves/what we need/or even look back to second guess moves we should have made this offseason?? Let's be posters and not prophets.

He's scored a lot of points per minute, a whole lot, but his percentage of shots made is not particularly high, he hasn't made a three pointer, his rebound plus assist plus steal plus block total of the 3 games in like 9.

We don't need a point scorer that can't score beyond the 3pt arch. At least I think that's why Rudy grabbed Boki. The guy has shot lights out more than a couple times. At some point, the young man's going to figure out how to do it in a game.

I like Kareem and think he would be an excellent back up for Mobley, but Boki can shoot and play defense. I'm not saying that Rush would have been a bad pick, just a bad pick for us. Although his instant offense ability would be a welcome weapon.

    {In some other dimension...}

don quixote: Told you we should have taken Boki. He's been shooting the lights out for the Lakers. Instead of a backup 2 guard, we could've gotten a future starter at SF.

Camus: Shut up! It's preseason! And we've got CIA man, Dan Langley.

don quixote: Langhi can score, but he's a blackhole. He'd be better coming off the bench as a 6th man. And Kareem's not going to be happy with just 10 mpg. He's not even the true backup SG behind Franchise. Jay Will is, because he slides over from the point.

Camus: Maybe Kareem can play some backup PG instead of Moochie "Dribble, Dribble, Dribble" Norris.

don quixote: We really need a true center. JC Superstar is a good backup, but he's not starter material. I wish we had Yao :(

I don't see Kareem Rush being a star in this league.

Frive practices and two preseason games later, Boki is a bust. Glad it only takes a couple of weeks to figure out if a player is NBA calibur or not.

I'm sure Nachbar was hitting the rim, at least....unlike SOME skinny white guys we've drafted...

Rush is a SG, Mobley's position; we needed a SF. Once Rush is better than Mobley, I might start regretting the pick; until then, we need to address our starter positions before we attend to the back-ups.

Nachbar looked nervious last night. He did not get the ball much. He did not move much on offense. Its only preseason. It may take Nachbar awhile to become a player.

Look at Eddie Griffin. He is playing much better than last year. He is more confident.

Dirk Nowitzki played like **** for a year. Too bad he never amounted to anything. What a waste of a draft pick that Euro-trash was!

What are you talking about man??? You've got no clue. Rush would have been a backup to Cat and he would have actually played. We are pretty thin at the backup SG.

Nachbar will see action this season only if: 1. there are major injuries, or 2. Rudy T. starts showing up drunk at games. How on Earth is he going to crack KT, TMo and Rice to play at SF. If you think that we addressed our starter position with an unproven, slow, no-defence Euro you are insane.

Steve and Moochie both play the backup 2.

Yeah, except that Eddie is 2 years younger than Nachbar and is already 10 times better player.
