Well, I'm covering the Spurs for them right now, but I just e-mailed the head of ESPN Fantasy basketball asking if I could switch teams.

    Wish me luck! :)

    sounds like fun...

jeff... being out of state didn't cause a big problem in writing the stuff? I suppose I could know enough from reading this board without even watching the games to write it lol

I used to listen to the games ove rthe internet and could get the jist of it to write the piece once a week.

It turned from a lot of fun to a chore about mid-way through the season and then I jumped ship. Good experience still though, as an Engineer I can't write/type worth a damn.

Sorry to bring this up... but:

    UPDATE:

The head of ESPN fantasy basketball e-mailed me back last week and said I couldn't switch midseason.

But since I've been writing for them for 2 years, I would automatically get to switch to the Rockets next season, no questions asked.

    Cool.

    Continue with your day. :)

    CONGRATS.....

Please don't expect any special treatment from the BBS when you start writing for the Chronical in a few years.

Oh, and could you give me the e-mail address for that guy because I want to b**** him out for having vetoed so many of my trades! It's not my fault if the other guy in my trade is dumber than a rock! (BTW, I usually end the season with at least three Rockets + Dirk on my team, used to be a good combination in fantasy basketball, but JVG ball is taking a toll on the Rockets' fantasy production).

drapg, do you know what happened to this Jefferson George guy's "String Music" column? I thought it was hands down one of the funniest columns in any medium concerning any subject, but it seems to be gone.
