    Clutch,
I think as a tribute to Hakeem in his final year you should add something to the website that pays tribute to the greatest rocket ever. I think there should be something there for the entire year or maybe different things about Hakeem that change throughout the year. Maybe make interchangeable headers about just Hakeem, or a flash intro of Hakeem. Something to remember Hakeem in this, his final year.
If anybody has any suggestions please post them here.
    Clutch what do you think?

I'd personally love to see a lot of old-school Akeem back in the day with the old uniforms spinning baseline and dunking one-handed. I want to always remember Dream in the glory days at the pinnacle of his career.

This is my sugestion.... as the season starts lets go back all the way to his first yr. in the NBA and match game per game.. for example.. on our first game this season Hakeems number are written in on a small box to the side of the webpage then say something like "Hakeem 16 yrs ago 1st game as a rocket he scored blah points had this many rbs and this many blocks and played this many minutes" of couse this would take major research and I don't know where we could get this kind of information (maybe the rockets front office ??) so as the season progresses we can see what he did in his first NBA season and of course the current numbers... I think it would be neat to see it w/our own eyes.............

    3Pointers got a good idea...

How about instead of just his first game, for every game of the season, we get his average stats over his career on how he performed in ie.- Game 1 career average 17 pts, 18 rbs, etc...

That is a good idea 3 pointer. We've got to give this man the greatest send off ever!

I don't think the new stadium should have a statue of Dream, but instead should have a monument of Dream exploding out of the stadium and holding up the two championship trophys.

So have I .. wrong forum posting is one thing we all have done at one time or another. I hope Clutch read this thread, it would be nice if he could pull it off.

Clutch, don't you think we should pay some sort of tribute to Hakeem. I think if we fill up this topic maybe clutch will listen. Don't you all think Hakeem deserves it?

Electronic thanks seems so insufficient, no matter how spectacular. There is no perfect way to show Hakeem and Houston what he has meant to our city. Words cannot describe it. But I do agree, something needs to be done.

Maybe we could all convert to Islam.

    I'll start...

I shall henceforth be known as Yazeed Abul Khayr.

I'll be in business as soon as I figure out how to pronounce the last bit, Insh'Allah.
