I don't know if anyone stuck around, but after the game last night Charles, Ernie and Kenny rated some of the "best" team commercials. They ranked the Rockets commercial with Cat and Franchise going to school at #3. #1 came from the Sonics featuring Peja Drobnjak. I have to admit, they are pretty damn funny. You can check it out for yourself here: http://www.nba.com/sonics/drobnjak/manjaks.html Saying they are "off the wall" would be putting it mildly.
They say that because they don't have to watch them 25 times during each game. My friend suggested that, instead of these "nice" commercials, the Rockets players should have been more mean. You know: Steve and Cat shoving some kids around and stealing their lunch money Yao "accidentally" dropping that lady's plate on the floor Moochie calling that guy's mom a stupid tramp and then jacking that guy's cell phone Yao shoving that little girl off the ladder They're taking this pansy attitude into games, which is why they're losing!
My gawd I'm slipping. If I don't watch out I'll get cut like Shane Reynolds soon. I just wish people would give a headline that actually describes what the topic is about...that would help.
Dont' sweat it. Your posts of the latest news articles are more than enough credibility. Just givin you a hard time my *****.
I think the Rockets commercial where Steve/Eddie visit those kids. At the end, Eddie asks a kid "whats my name?" And the kid goes, "Cuttino Mobley!". And Steve busts out laughing and says, "Oh that's Cuttino Mobley???" hahahhaa funny. Those kids (the children, not Steve and EG) are cute! (had to do that or else some of you weird folks will bash me)
I like where they are washing dishes, and Steve says: "I pass to Yao. . . . We're a team." Obviously, Steve has heard the criticism that no one passes to Yao. Also, in the same commercial: "I love Chicken pot pies . . . You just have to take the peas out. . . . Yeah - take the peas out." And the space center one is great, too. Mobley on the cell phone: "Moochie made a wrong turn. Yeah - we on the moon."
FA, what did you think of the Denver Nuggets ad campaign. when that girl smiled, then Juwan Howard smiled. it looked like the beginning of a p*rn scene.
