Craig Sager just reported on TNT that AK-47 is out, because he suffered a nervous breakdown from the pressure. It was a taped report, but Kenny and Charles both appeared to be shocked. I'm not seeing this reported anywhere else. What the hell is going on? Edit: My original note said 'out of the series', what I remember Sager saying was 'he's out', so that could mean something different.
Out of the series? I like the guy, but he can't guard McGrady. They didn't need him this series...it's actually worse for us because Sloan can't even consider putting Kirilenko on him now...
There was an article in a Utah newspaper. Check the video posted with all the jazz interviews, kirilenko is crying in a corner at one point. But basically, he broke down because of the lack of playing time and just fell apart in the room.
wow, that's shocking. as much as any of you all can make fun of it, but it's a critical health situation. hope he's ok. b/c i really think he cares about his job so that's why he's acting like this
Sloan is pretty well known for putting great pressures on his players.I wouldn't be surprised if this has something to do with him.
i think he will play again. I think its overeggatertaed right now. until i see video of the tears rolling down his cheeks and him rolling on the floor throwing a tantrum at jerry sloans feet, ill beleive he will still play
I hope it's not a serious mental health situation, because that would be genuinely sad. But come on, his wife allows him to pick exactly one girl a year? I get stressed trying to decide whether to spend my frequent flier miles. That's enough pressure to kill any man.
