With the Open OS, I think in time it will be better than the iphone. It won't blow you away out of the box, but its more about the potential of the phone than anything else. Theres already hundreds of freeware programs for the Android and the phone itself barley come out.
I hope Android phones and the innovation they spawn soon blow the iPhone out of the water and it forces Apple to open up too.

When I first got the iphone and played with it, I was wowed. With the G1, the awesome factor was not there. The touch screen, and scroll stuff has already been implemented in the iphone and much better I might add. It is nice overall, the keyboard is much harder to use than the iphone keyboard. The software is slow, and I dont really like the way it syncs to google contacts. (that could be a good or bad thing) It crashed once (the phone call dropped and I got some error message), the texting is very flaky. Camera is slow, but good. Overall I can see myself getting very used to it after I customize it. Just one thing I miss alot from the iphone is that I am not able to type with an onscreen keyboard. (Kind of defeats the purpose of the touchscreen) Oh and it took me almost 15 minutes to figure out how to open the back cover to put the battery in (very very nicely covered) The keyboard on my blackberry curve was so much easier to type on The absolute worse part about this phone is the weird shape. They could have removed that whole curved part and this phone would have been perfect. (the buttons on the bottom are pretty much pointless and redundant)
Hey adeel, any chance you have that Blackberry Curve? I am looking for one or another decent to nice phone. Something with PDA functions.
How much are you looking for for the Tmobile one? I have a shadow in 9.5/10 condition less than a couple months old that I have for trade if you are interested.
I've got a question for y'all. What is the Blackberry Pearl lacking that the other Blackberry's have? IMO, the Pearl is a much better looking phone, but it seems it is also the cheapest one they offer. What gives?
I'm debating...The iphone looks cooler but with either phone, you have to pay $35 for a data package...That's what I don't want... My t-mobile drops calls all the time? Does anyone have that with AT&T?
