yao said a couple of weeks ago it would be a major weapon in the po, but I only saw it several times. Could it be that rox save it for mavs?

Not sure why they don't do this more. It is very difficult to stop for any team. If I was JVG, I'd be calling that play 15-20 times per game. Even if they triple on the PNR it opens up a clean look for our perimeter guys. Eventually they will start hitting those again - I think!

I believe they are just saving it, wanna go under the radar. But they did it once today, which is the olley-opp.

yeah i was getting hyped up about the strategy of saving the PnR for the playoffs, but it hasnt been utilized yet. that allyoop to yao was awesome and totally surprising because it came out of nowhere and was really only like the 2nd time yao got the pass off a roll with tmac the entire series.

They've been using it. Tracy's just getting trapped a lot. He's got to do a bit better job of turning the corner, and guys need to hit their threes so the jazz can't collapse on him as much.

yea they try a lot but okur/boozer or whoever goes WAY OUT to trap tmac and its hard for him to turn that corner so he passes off and we're missing. if we make, they'll be hesitant to trap like that so tmac can drive to either finish or pass to yao

good to know you are so sure about this.

however, yao said rockets saved it for the playoff, if they did it in the regular season, what prevents them from doing it in the first round? I just hope we can beat jazz even without using all our weapons. wishful thinking maybe
