Just a short blurb, but interesting that Tmac would even say that. he must know his days are finished as a Rocket. TMac Wants Bulls But they don't want him Houston Rockets guard Tracy McGrady(notes) would love a move to the Chicago Bulls, one league executive said, but Bulls GM Gar Forman has no interest. Still, the Rockets are determined to move his expiring $23 million contract. …
I wouldn't believe it, but it could be true that he has interest. I bet he still wants to stay here but if he couldn't, his first team he would love to play for is the Bulls.
I can see it now. He says love Chicago on his rehab. Translate to " I want to play for Chicago Bulls"
how can people report things without quotes at least from that particular GM. it's amazing the type of journalism that is being put out nowadays.
i'm sure the question was "if you got traded to chicago how would you feel" and the reply from tmac was "well i'd welcome a trade there i got no problem with chicago, it would be fun playing there".......which of course became "tmac wants to go to chicago"...
i think chicago wanted tmac since getting drafted. remember the bulls and toronto had a deal in place that sent pippen to toronto for tmac? deal fell through because jordan threatened to retire if they pulled the trigger
Thing is...the question wasn't asked of McGrady. It was asked of some random employee of some random NBA team that wasn't the Rockets or the Bulls.
no ish. Some people on this board can turn Tracy's words of "Chicago is a pretty city" all the way into "I plan to turn the city of Chicago back to the glory days with 6 straight championship rings as I surpass Michael Jordan as the undisputed greatest person ever in the history of man kind. I also invented fire and the wheel"
Oh for the love. Here comes all of the Kirk love.... The only thing I would want from the Bulls is Ben Gordon. That's it. or...maybe Tyrus Thomas if we had to give up Carl Murder Landy.
