I couldn't find the thread "whats wrong with tmac?"

But i was going through my yahoo fantasy team and read MCgrady's scroll beside his name

it said he had a cold last night that was nagging him since the end of the Portland game.

Admins please lock if allready posted...Thought it was an important update

i think it's known. i thought it was extremely awkward he kept the towel around his face for no apparent reason, even in timeouts or when giving players hi-fives.

add onto the fatigue of a b2b, that's what you get.

but again, this team has so much depth that we can afford tracy to have a game off even if he wants to.

Yeah. Why was he even out there? Why wasn't he at the hotel eating warm chicken noodle soup? Is he trying to contaminate the team? What a loser.

I remember what Jordan could do with the flu and 103 fever. T-Mac contracts a cold and becomes seriously disabled. This guy has about the worst pain threshold that I've ever seen from anyone. Before all of you start writing and telling he's playing with a hurt shoulder and knee, I know; he never lets you forget it either.

He averaged 27/8/7 without his starting PG and C in the playoffs, despite being so hurt that he needed 2 surgeries a week after the series ended.

But yeah, he has a terrible pain threshold

It's enough already. We have to come to accept Tmac for who he is. He is soft and kind of a sissy. But that's why he is and we should support him for that. :D

that was also during the finals when his team needed him the most. This game was just against the clippers. I'm sure if this was the finals, T-mac would be out there playing...

Yup Michael Jordan played a game with the Flu and dominated. So becasue T-mac isn't at the standard of the greatest player ever, he is sub par.

You're absolutely right. Players should play through injuries and minor ailments, that's their job. I mean high school football kids even get pulled for just concussions, for God's sake. Are you telling me that people can't play through sprained ankles? What's a bit of pain to any man, huh? Wussies. Hell, they should play through broken legs and dislocated joints too. And AIDS. Yep.

Jordan toughed it out for a crucial playoff game against the Jazz (i think). The last game was the 6th game of the regular season against the Clippers. I have no doubt in my mind that Tmac would have played if the game was really truly important.

He was out there playing with the cold because he was tired of people in the media and on forums saying that he doesn't care and giving him crap for being hurt/sick.

First of all, you're talking about the best player ever in the history of basketball. The greatest of all time. The guy who's silhouette of his head was known by under-privelaged kids in third world countries. So if you're going to compare T-Mac with him, you must consider T-Mac on that level to have a valid argument. I don't think you do, and I don't think anyone should, so it's pointless to do so.

Second of all, that was game 6 of the finals I think. The NBA Finals. That's pretty important. Much more important than game 6 of the regular season aganist a 0-5 team. If this was the playoffs, T-Mac would be out there and playing well. He hasn't missed a playoff game in his career. He played injured last season and still put up good numbers, took the series to 6 games and had 40 in game 6 (If i recall correctly).

When T-Mac misses a playoff game for something minor, let me know. I'll eat my words.

trust me, if that was a playoff game, tracy would make sure to get treatment and get some electrolytes in. i don't think he did anything b/c we just played a game before.

You don't have to play like Jordan to be one of the greatest players;)

No one is as great as him.

Yao and Steve had the same during training camp. This time it is T-Mac. Hopefully it will not bother him tonight
