I know that almost, if not all, of us saw this but I think this deserve it own thread. Beside this, TMAC is showing us that what Big O said is just true. I'm sorry for all of you TOF but you has to take off your blinder, because your loved TMAC sometime is a quitter too.

Now go ahead and flame me, but I'm a Rockets fan, not a player fan, and for me the team come first.

    Discuss!!

I completely agree with you, and I am a huge Rocket's fan!

Hopefully the series plays out the way it has so far; the home team winning each game. That is the only hope we have for the rest of this series.

If we're getting blown out by the Jazz, just think what will happen to us against the Mavs/Warriors.

I honestly think he doesn't care enough. Come on, with all that big talk before the playoffs and during. Just shut up and play!

this became a habit of his during at least the last season or so in the regular season, and it carried over into the playoffs tonight. bad habit came back to bite him.

basically, he had his head up his ass.

That was complete BS. If Rafer had it he would have hauled ass and attempted a shot. TMac acted like the quarter was over already.

On one hand, it can be said that he was trying to draw some attention near midcourt (which happened), at which point he would throw it up to an open guy... however i am NOT giving him the benefit of the doubt because he very very clearly does NOT want to be out there. I'm pretty ashamed of T-Mac right now...

Remember 13 in 35? Obviously T-Mac doesn't. This guy can rise and fire over ANYONE, there's no way he should be wasting time drawing attention and giving it to CHUCK HAYES for a 50 foot heave. He just looked frustrated that a few bounces went the Jazz way and wanted to go to the lockerroom. This was an inexcusable act, 5 seconds is a lifetime for someone with T-Mac's talent.

Rafer has done the same thing constantly over the course of the season. It's pretty damn annoying. At least heave up an attempt.

The thing is, it wasn't even a hail mary situation. T-Mac could've very easily dribbled it down the entire court for a layup or one of his beloved pull-up 3's. He caught it with 5 seconds about 10 feet from the halfcourt line, that's plenty of time. For whatever reason, he just gave up.

5 seconds left in the half, Tmac walks the ball up the court into a double team trap at the half court line before finally passing it off to Chuck Hayes in time for a 35 foot heave.

That was such a disturbing moment, to say the least! I never bashed TMac, and I thought he coasted sometimes during the regular season but it was fine since I hoped when the playoffs are on, he will take it to another level. But this was bothering me like hell! We were down 5 with more than 5 seconds left for the 1st half, and he just walked up to the front court and casually threw a pass to Hayes for a wild 3-point shot! WTF was that!!!

And I just watched his postgame interview. He was like in complete denial. He still thought he has played aggressively, did not show any sign that he was at any fault. His plan for Game 5 was that he needs to inspire his teammates. When asked about how, he scrambled for words and mumbled something about the practices, pulling people to the sideline for talking...I was like, what? There is only one way to inspire your teammates...by your plays on the court, by showing your efforts and energy!

I am really concerned now, not because of the loss tonight, but because the doubt I have on T-Mac for the first time.

This would not be the first time he quit on his team. I think that some years ago he admitted quitting while in Orlando. I would not be surprised if this guy retires after his contract end. He has not that kind of passion and love for the game like the greats like Mj, Hakeem, and I would includes Kobe.
Hey I cant stand Kobe and I know he's a 1 man show but don't you dare to compare Tmac with Kobe again. Kobe is a animal and he is just in another level.

That play was a real letdown but have some faith guys...I still believe the real tmac and Yao will show up for the rest of the series. JVG's job is on the line, Tmac's heart is being challenged, and Yao's toughness is in question. We have too much to lose for our team to lose this match up.
