I'd pick Drex. He had much more competitive fire than TMac, although I like TMac lots, too.

Drexler, mainly because he was the more durable player.

Athletically, Tmac has a slight edge over.
In terms of skill set, Tmac is definitely better-Clyde did not shoot threes alot and was not as efficient from the three point line as Tmac. Considering Tmac's height and speed and atleticism, he has, POTENTIALLY, a better overall package than Clyde.

However, Clyde, like all the greats, had strong intangibles and wll that matched his physical prowess. Not saying Tmac doesn't but come on-until he gets out the first round he should not be considered on the level of the greats, although he certainly has the potential and the stats

I am not sure. Did Clyde ever make it out of the first round?

Tmac is more gifted but Drexler was more of a competitor.

They are both really good, but I would argue Clyde has the slight athletic advantage.

In my view, Drexler was stronger and could jump higher. In addition, he was much more willing to take it to the rack even if he had to go through or over people.

the greats are humble...yet confident....hmmm....I believe that is the reason why t-mac has not made it through the 1st round in about a decade. A little wave can magnify and become a big one. That one little tiny thing called humility has been a factor. Let me put it this way...take Hakeem's or Clyde's inner mind, leadership and attitude and add t-mac's body and skill the resulting player is the best player in the NBA. I agree with Morey. T-mac is the most talented player in the NBA. There are just other elements to go all the way...

I'd have to go with Drexler. Stronger and more explosive.

Went to the Finals twice with Portland only to lose to Jordan, then won a ring with Hakeem.

He didnt score as many points, but his career field goal percentage was around 50%, and he was probably a much better defender.

But when consider that Tmac is about two inches taller, and yet has the speed and athleticism of a shooting guard makes a more unique player.
But how do you know Clyde jumped higher? Remember, I'm talking about the Orlando Tmac, and that Tmac was probably the best pure athlete during that time.

I saw him play and he was athletic but TMAC before back spasms could dunk like crazy, and took it to the rack all the time.
