Rick has actually said something that can be almost looked at as positive towards tracy, He looks "OK", he looks "All Right". Either he's just being nice or tmac is looking a little better(obviously not ready for Rick), but better. I just think of how he is running every practice full speed and it gets me excited that he WILL be back this season. I guess its all i got to look forward to for now. No trades or anything happening, just waiting for the Return of the Mac..
man I clicked on the thread and came in here all hyped up and hoping to see something along the lines of "tmac coming back next game!" or "t-mac nearing return with day-to-day status!"....and only to be dissappointed by more rick adelman delay tactics
Thanks for the heads-up bro. It's encouraging to hear that he's progressing towards its better aspect of his return. Hope he'll get much much better quicker than us expected, also than Rick thought for now.
Rick Adelman could not be more unprofessional about this situation. The whole Rockets organization looks very unprofessional right now. Stars are viewing this treatment and thinking to themselves: "Why the hell would I want to come to Houston if they treat their stars like this?".... If the Rockets want to save themselves of this label, then they need to make a timetable and keep a consistent date in regards to his return. That's just my two cents.
Free swinger After Etan Thomas' left hand slashed Luis Scola's right eyelid, knocking him out of Sunday's game and Wednesday in Los Angeles, a more purposeful elbow nearly caught Aaron Brooks. But Brooks said the elbow did not land and was just part of protecting the ball on a rebound, one of Thomas' three Sunday. “I don't think he knew I was there,” Brooks said. “I think he was just excited he got a rebound. “I don't think he intentionally meant to hit me. He's an aggressive guy. That's the way he plays the game. I didn't take it personally. If he hit me, I know that's not what he wants. He should be scared of me because I'm about 160.” LOL. Good stuff.
Unprofessional? What are you talking about? About an organization which lost it's two best players because of injuries and still manages to be one of the premier teams in the NBA? Although I'm looking forward for TMac to return he ACTED more immature and unprofessional, especially last year than the whole organization. They could have easily traded him or replaced him.
If by unprofessional you mean sticking to the timetable that has been in place all along, then yes... I agree.
Easily traded him? You're dreaming. His value dropped significantly, what would you get in return? I bet even now they want to trade him if they could get something decent in return. But they wont. A Dalembart or Curry isn't worth anything.
He wants to continue his rehab in games. Rick and Darryl want him to rehab in practice so he doesn't jack them around game to game like he did last year after his in season training camp break. This time they make the decisions not TMac. And for that, I'm glad.
I was serious, if he can play some backup PF, he could play now.....with Scola out.....there is opportnity there. But I understand the organization wants to get him completely healthy before playing him. DD
Doesnt change the fact that the Adelman/Morey act is whack. The "professional" thing to do is to get over what happened last season and leave the whining to fans. Whether Tmac stays or not, we are developing a reputation that cant possibly help us in the future.
you're assuming he's game-ready (because he said so) and adelman is not letting him play. adelman obviously thinks he's not ready, yet. it's a matter of who you believe. simple, really. and keep in mind that when it comes to professionalism, adelman was very professional all his career, even when he had issues with ownership in sacto. can't say the same of mcgrady.
Last thing you'd want to see is an elbow to McGrady's eye. He wouldn't be able to get a contract next season. Come on DD!
Well's he guarded Dirk before for the Rockets, you know the team he plays for. I don't think it's impossible unless you don't want him to get banged up as soon as he gets back
^Just so you know, Adelman has been my favorite coach for about a decade, from way back when the Kings used to be really good... Even if you want to screw a player over last season's beef, its best not to be too transparent about it. Unless you want to attract ONLY no-talent, all-effort guys for the next decade...
