So if he's having microfracture surgery, he's going to be out majority of next season, right? Then we can exercise half of his salary on other players, right?
Sad to see the guy have to deal with a situation like this, but on the other hand it could have been dealt with in a more appropriate fashion. As Obama has been preaching, its time for CHANGE and I think he (T-Mac) and both the fans of Houston are ready
I wish him luck. He needs it. I really don't think we'll see him in a Rockets uniform again. Hope the league lets us get a player for half his salary next season (I think that might be allowed). The way things are shaping up, we're going to have a lot of cap space to play with in 2010.
I wish him well, I hope it is successful, but TMac's career is over in Houston. Best wishes for his future. He is young and rich; how bad can it be?
Not bad at all, except for the chronic pain he's probably going to have to deal with the rest of his life. I know a little about that and it isn't fun, even if you are well off.
I wonder how much of his money he would actually give up just to have 1 YEAR of playoff success? Any thoughts...
Wish TMac the best. BTW, I will trade my 9-5, 5 days week, 50K a year/ life with TMac's life any day.
If he gets microfracture surgery his career is over. Not just as a Rocket but as an NBA player. He isn't going to put the time in to rehab only to come back at 30-31 years old and not be given the role or the money he is used to.
If true that ends all this "What if?" talk going on. As others have already pointed out microfracture surgery means he's done as a Rocket. I wish him well and it's a shame things had to end this way.
FAKER! Wow! Faking it all the way to the operating table! He doesn't need a hospital. He needs a Glue Factory! He'll probably purposely crash his own flight on his way to the hospital in order to keep his drama queen status alive and kicking.
