Well.. it is the obvious pick. I mean, right now, we're just focused on the first round. The whole world will be shocked if we can win a title with the path we have to get to the Finals.

Maybe so, but with his teammates busting their collective butts on the court to advance, you'd think the A-Hole could have given them some props and a chance.

I would agree with what he said, except I dont think it will be QUITE as easy for the Lakers to beat the Cavs as he thinks.

Wow, seriously? He said "the world will be shocked". You act like he said "there's no way in hell and my teammates suck, btw." Chill out man.

Well, if you read the question, it was really "who's his pick to win the title?" He said the two obvious teams, Cleveland and LA to the finals with LA winning. I mean, I think he didn't list any other contenders in the west or east either.

He didn't literally say the Lakers would beat Houston. Hell, he didn't even say if the Rockets will get out the first. But I could see how this could be spun and turned into another bash fest for T-Mac.....in 3...2....1..........

Well. The Rocket's are still in the first round and they are playing the Blazers right now, not the Lakers... So I'm gonna take it as IRRELEVANT!

Nothing is wrong with what he said.
The odds are in favor of the Lakers, they have home court advantage, last years MVP.

At least Tmac was honest and realistic. Doesn't mean that he doesn't want the Rockets to win.

OMG lol some of you guys are amazing. Instead of worrying about the Blazers and hoping that the 1st game wasn't a fluke you guys find ways to bring up McGrady's name. LOL let the man be and forget about him for now. Talk and worry about him in the offseason instead of right now when Brandon Roy and the Blazers should be the topic.

Wow. I think the signs of the times are fast approaching... I completely agree with this (assuming it isn't sarcasm).

I doubt KG, Ginobili, Jameer Nelson, etc would answer the question like this.

Hmm to be a big homer and say your team is going to win or to be honest and go with the heavy favorite.

Tmac should of said the Rockets and be a homer since it's his team but the guy is honest to a fault.

I would of say the Lakers too but if I was on an NBA team I would completely be a homer.

TMAC is just saying that because he thinks we can't win without him. Which is probably realistic. BUT you don't say it to the media.

You don't say another team in the same conference/league is going to win it all when YOUR team is still playing. This is a disrespect to his teammates. TMAC, we don't want to hear about you or your mouth.
