TMac......please sit out until you're actually ready to play. Pathetic for a supposed superstar. Just flat out embarassing.
how is this knee jerk? how many more games do you need to see to realize that mcgrady is slow, has no lift, and just plain sucks right now
LOL. Right this is really a "knee-jerk" reaction, after 3 games of poor play, and years of general lackadaisical attitude. We fans deserve more.
Yao and T-Mac are clearly damaged goods right now. If they need to sit for a while and mend some injuries, let them do it now.
Um, Yao's defense leaves something to be desired. Luther Head looked like a joke Barry has been a bust Need I say more?
Three games of poor play? Yeah, that's knee-jerk. I am as critical of McGrady as everyone, but this loss was not just on him.
TRACY, SICK? THAN STAY AT HOME! I am serious. Don't tell me it is his knee because it isn't. He outplayed Celtics defense (best in the NBA) for 26 points. He scored 30 against Portland. He was obviously BALLIN'. And since the end of Portland's game he was sick - they said. So DAMN SIT. Because you're not helping your team and what is more YOU ARE HURTING THIS TEAM. 2, 3 points after that. Sick? Than please stay at home ! We look like the worst team in the NBA.
This is no knee-jerk thread. We have seen the same crap for four years now. T-Mac and Yao are two mentally weak players that fold like a house of cards when they stop getting calls. It's so frustrating when you juxtapose them to the guys that Morey has assembled around them--Brooks, Scola, Landry, Artest, Battier. Those guys have heart, and if T-Mac and Yao can only make bitter beer faces at the refs and not go back on defense when they don't get the calls, then they both should be benched. Our second unit held off LA handily, and we had our -25 point swing for the most part with the starters in the game.
I don't know. Tmac and Yao are kinda weird. Yao had two good games and Tmac carried us in the Portland game. So it's not like they are not capable of having good games anymore. I will say it's probably the chemistry and fatigue. Last year, we opened poorly too. As matter of fact, we are always a slow start team. So let's see. And don't expect Battier's return will change this team immediately. OTOH, Lakers are probably the best team in the West, and it's in their gym. So it's not as bad as it looks.
Funny how this wasn't an issue vs Boston and Portland but those games are forgotten. You have to take the up's with the downs. Look, he sucked tonight, but blaming this on him is not right. Artest is struggling and the whole unit looked terrible in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
I'm always a huge supporter of TMAC... Always defending him. But the dude looks like he no longer enjoy the game... maybe he's just sick... i don't know.. pretty disappointing performances by tracy
