if history shows that tmac will not do well in back to back games, for the sake of healing of tmacs knee, adelman shouldn't allow tmac to play back to back games. in the case of new jersey, tmac should have sat out and then played against the cavs or vice versa. there's really no point in having a limping old tmac running after quicker guards on a back to back night...and sitting out the 4th with a total of 4 points. wafer would have done better.
i hope he is ok, sigh, it's sad to see him play like that. The worst sight was he got a steal and no one was in front of him. The old t-mac would have dribbled down the court and SLAM it, but instead the current t-mac stops and passes the ball to alston to set up the offense.
Seriously, if Tmac plays like he played tonight, he needs to sit. Adelman needs to sit him. Keith Jones needs to lock him in the trainer's room. Because tonight's Tmac was nothing but a detriment to the team. It was 4 on 5.
He did fine the previous two back to backs we had. This was 4 out of 5 games,no need to sit him out in one of the back to back everytime. Let him work his way up by playing.
He played well enough for us to win and that is all that matters. He's not going to have those 40 point performances because we are so deep. He is being a playmaker, tonight well he didn't do much. His knee is weak and he's out of shape, the only way those 2 things will improve for the good of T-mac is if he is out their playing.
his knee is sore...sounds more like an injury. it doesnt' take a dr to figure that tmac isn't going to do well this game. he should have sat out yesterday.
It's easy to say that now but who would of thought T-mac would play like he did today. The doctors said T-mac needs to play through it and told him he's not going to feel any better. This was just one of those games. As the season goes T-mac is going to need to play if we want to make the playoffs. The race is real tight again this year.
I don't know if resting for instance, against New jersey, would make a difference. It could be just that his knee flared up today as it probably will at other times this season randomly.
TMAC sucked tonight (and he was more hesitant with the double teams). he was invisible and had little impact. but yes, this was the 4th game in 5 nights for him (he played 30+ mins in all the agmes) and he bumped knees in the kings game (wearing the tape). as long as he's playing through it and regaining strength, i'm fine with it. i'm looking towards april, not now. he played terrible. the team played terrible. tracy gotta play better. that's the bottom line.
he doesn't. dude just played 4th game in 5 nights and he bumped knees in the 2nd game that clyde says usually takes 2 weeks to relieve the pain (compounded to that with the soreness). he'll be fine. this is his FIRST bad game since he has returned. we have 2 more games v. contenders coming up v. hornets and jazz. let's see how he responds. he was very consistent in every game till tonight. i expect him to bounce back well. people are just on another level when it comes to tracy.
If he can just pop a midol and fight the bloating and bleeding I think he'll be fine even on those heavy flow nights. Has it already been 30 days since his last long rest? This is like clockwork he's on the same schedule as my girlfriend. Get this guy a TPad and get someone out there that wants to win a Championship, I think there's some fans on this board that want it more than ole Mac and thats pretty sad.
