Just heard Tmac on 97.9 ... Brief Recap off the top of my head: Did actually admit to crying at the end of Game 7 but was laughing about it with the other guys. Called the east the "JV" league. Is excited about Adelman, says he's going to take advantage of Yao's passing skills. Said the Celtics are now contenders in the East but they need to add a couple more pieces. Said the Cavs were not really great at all and they made it to the Finals so why wouldn't the Celtics. Said it's HARD being in the West especially after playing in the East and realizing the difference. Apparently someone made a comment about his "sneaky eyes" (i'm assuming they are referring to his awesome lazy eye) and mac asked why they were talking about another man's eyes. Said some of the ladies really love it (although i'm not a lady myself, i think it makes for some hilarious faces/pictures). also talked about his charity softball game etc. but i thought i wouldn't bore you guys with that... thats all i got, anyone else hear anything of interest?
no problem. sorry for all of the "said ...." i was just firing things off the top of my head and didn't want to forget anything. no time for grammar.
Why are you so interested in whether McGrady is a point forward? You keep bringing it up like its an interesting topic of discussion. A "point forward" is just a label for a forward who's given primary responsibility for setting up and directing an offense. Sometimes McGrady does that if there isn't another strong ball handler on the court, but usually not. And last season he was mostly playing at guard anyways so it doesn't even apply.
well i really don't know who you are. But thanks for answering the question i won't ask again. and thanks for thinking what i'm thinking.
the one thing i liked was when he really defended yao when they were talking about him droping passes he said that yao is 7'6 300 plus pound and is the biggest player in the game at his position. he made it sound like what any other gm would say... were really lucky to have a guy of his skill for being that big. i also liked the little bit that he talked about francis sayin that he is real humble because of the problems he had after his first yr in orlando and the he is in the top notch shape and is ready to do what ever it takes to win and wants to prove that he can still be a great player along with being a good teamate. also he said he was on board with the new coach and said the guards will be i big part of the offenese because of yao's passing which leads me to think the steve will be the starter because in reality he is are best pg regardless what others may say this yr should be fun anything less than a championship is unaccetable this yr, last yr i didnt by into it. but this team is really good and people around the league know it watch out dallas phnx and san antonio cause were comming for you
that's why tmac is VERY hard to hate. hopefully he'll succeed in the playoffs and take his rightful place as one of the best in history.
I am sorry, but it is NOT McGrady's place to say whether or not someone else is 'humbled' by his experiences. How the heck does he know? It sounds more like he's TELLING Francis indirectly to be a 'good boy' or else. Sure, he can do that because he's the premier guard on the team and its leader, but it still annoys me. Let Francis be and give HIM the chance to prove to all of us that he's changed his attitude, I don't need McGrady going around telling everyone that Francis is "humbled". Shut up T-Mac...
um, they probably talked several times and francis revealed his feelings about where's he's at in his career and life. and that's why tmac probably recruited him in the first place.
i got owned in hoopshype and insidehoops? obviously you have trouble reading then. Jonathan Feigen even agrees that mcgrady isn't a point forward i even asked him myself in his blog.
For the last Time. all rafer does is bring the ball upto the our half and from there tracy does all the decision making. he creates the plays from there. go watch what the bulls did with pippen. harper bought the ball up and pippen created the rest from there. same with the pistons with hill.
ummm. No. And durvasa explained why as well. Pippen brought up the ball and so did Hill. Not gonna waste my time with you.
Look this vendetta you have against tracy is hillarious. every where you go, all you do is try to bad mouth him. you're a clown. thats the bottom line. you dont even know the definition of what a Point Forward is.
Then you havent much of the bulls. jordan or Hrper were the primary ball handelers from the inbound pass.
my guess is that your fudge, and you find it an insult if you don't call mcgrady a point forward? correct? durvasa explained why and so did Jonathan Feigen your a tool.
But I think SF3 actually said that ...didn't he? I hope Steve can play 3rd fiddle like he insinuated when we signed him. Who knows tho. I love Francis to death as a long time Rockets fan but don't want to see him dribbling out the shot clock. If he has "plans" to be the big star on this team then I would rather say good bye to him. It's not just Rox fans but Knicks and Magic fans that say that (about his dribbling) on their message boards. Not wanting to hate on you but I agree with what TMac said. I hope SF3 starts. He is better than Mike James.
