get it done morey why we do it: we all know whats going on with yao and we all know how high aaron brooks stock is.... i say we make the most of it and solidify our front line... why they do it: with the addition of blake griffin they should be looking to surround him with young talent enter brooks while also being able to make a splash in 2010 with mcgrady coming off the books they could then add a veteran to there solid young core Ming?/Camby/Gortat Scola/Landry/Hayes Artest Battier Davis/Lowry i also think we should sign hill
Honestly, why hasn't this been explored? It works salary wise. You give them an expiring contract and lots of salary relief.
You know, if we really are going into rebuilding mode, I'd rather not trade young talent and cap space for a couple of old guys that aren't putting us over the top in terms of winning a championship. That's like the antithesis of what a rebuilding team does.
Hmmm. Baron Davis Shane Battier Ron Artest Luis Scola Marcus Camby ---------------------- Kyle Lowry Carl Landry Marcin Gortat I, for one, think that this would be a championship roster.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clippers would have... Aaron Brooks Eric Gordon Al Thorton Blake Griffin Chris Kaman ------------------- Zach Randolph Ricky Davis Steve Novak
I rather take DeAndre Jordan ,and baron davis... if this trade includes brooks, Deandre Jordan is 6'11 with 7'7 wingspan 20 yrs old, young center that could really use?
Completely missed by 70% of the BBS. And he's more selfish than TMac, with a nasty habit of freezing out teammates he doesn't like.
B. Davis and Camby may be the only players in the league that are more injury prone than Tmac and Yao. Baron Davis and Camby are also overpaid and I would not waste Tmac's expiring contract on those players. There must be better offers out there than anything from the Clippers.
Maybe the Rockets want nothing to do with a selfish, lazy half-asser like Baron? Especially whenever that selfish, lazy half-asser's presence would likely stunt the growth of one of your young PG's (likely Lowry).
Yes to Camby. He fills all the needs the Rockets need at the Center position. No to Baron because of his long contract. Baron still can ball but having a player with the type of contract can only derail any chance of movement for a couple of years which could have a major impact in winning the championship.
