Also good for what limited integrity NBA the All-Star game has.

Good news ~ Tracy didn't deserve to be an all star this year.

    haha.
i was waiting for someone to post this thread.
Pretty sad that he was leading to be a starter not too long ago..
and now he's not even a reserve

You actually thought he had a chance at making the reserves list? LOL...

We have so many homers on this board. What has Tmac done to deserve an all star spot this year? NOTHING compared to the 10+ other guys that have. He admitted it himself. I'm not bashing Tmac either. He has been injured and I'm sure of he had not missed a game the whole season he would be a reserve at the least.

Thats good, let him rest and get ready for the 2nd half of the season, and the playoffs. I like that Chris Paul get a spot on the roster, he has played very well.

Tmac has been 7 times all star. He doesn't really need it. All he needs is passing the 1st round and get a ring!

remember last year during some interview he was talking about how the all star game was in new orleans and that he didn't like that? that he wouldn't feel safe there and he wouldn't want to go?

seems fitting that he missed that time to cause something like this to happen.

    but whatever...

Maybe he lost too many people and too much faith...

he's just didn't play in enough games and the controversy around him didn't help. and him openin his mouth saying he wasn't going to play didn't help either b/c stein then nicely did him a favor and fixed the votes.

he'll be an all-star again next yr but that's besides the point. he needs to win FAST.

Pretty obvious, especially looking at all the guards in the West, he wouldn't even make it if there were three more spots for the reserves. I mean Baron freaking Davis got snubbed and he has better stats all-around and on a better team currently--at least record wise.

    Two reasons:

    1. rockets bad record, no.10 in WC

    2. Tmac missed 15 games

Actually, it's nothing for him to miss this ASG, he has been 7 times all-star.

He needs to pass the 1st round, and win a ring.

I got this e-mail from NBA.com announcing the reserves...and guess what, this is what it had in the footer image.

Yes...that's how it should be. I don't give a damn if T-Mac doesn't "deserve" it, I still think he should be playing, he is a superstar. Just wait til the playoffs (if we make it) - you guys would take Tracy over Iverson any day.

I think T-Mac and Yao will retire as non-champions, just like Stockton and Malone.

At least, Stockton and Malone were in finals twice.
