the bulls already have a point gaurd and some young talent. I say we trade tmac for rose + one their good young guys. We will still be good and we will have enough cap to sign Lebron. Lebron + rose would be a great duo. Tmac is great but not 23 million great.

    Pshhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... YEAH RIGHT! LOL

Chicago will not trade their #1 for Tmac OR Yao

Unless they're getting someone back named Lebron, Kobe, or Paul, they're keeping it.

T-Mac does not have the value of a #1 or #2 pick in this draft.

i would do it if i know for sure rose will be a superstar. the first 2 years, most likely he will not. yao is already 26/27??? that means the next 2 years we're not going to win at all. so we're going to waste yao's next 2 years. then when rose does become a star, yao is around 29-30 and nearly done with his career.

but if it was me though, i'd pull the trigger. if he turns out to be anything like deron (which he has the potential to be better), great trade.

but bulls won't do it. tmac is going on 30. their team is young and they want to stay young.

They'd have to trade us half their darn team to make it work financially or a really bad contract!!!!!!!

First of all, to be honest I thought we were a championship team before Yao's injury. Maybe im just a homer, but we could play with ANYONE in the league during the winning streak before yao's injury. So why break that up?

Second....im willing to ride this whole tmac thing out anyways. Lebron probably wont come here, but it will be nice knowing that we can throw all kinds of money at him. No need to take on any stupid long term contracts in a McGrady trade.

of course they're more willing. Heinrich sucks and gordon is a 6th man. They'd probably trade gordon+Heinrich for Scola and Alston.

I would not do that. The reason I think this can happen is cause Chicago is a win now type mode. So are we, but I think honestly the chance of Yao and Tmac being healthy are not very good. As we have seen in the playoff Point guard play is as crucial as a big man:

    Billups
    Dwill
    Parker
    CP3

Even rondo and fish had to step for their teams to win. It is not like I think Tmac is not good.

And we're not in a win now type mode? Are you nuts, you can't put so much trust into a top draft pick you just can't.

Especially trading the player you would be a lotter team without

I'm all for it. In fact I've been expecting it ever since the trade rumour earlier
this year. Too bad it didn't happen. I would love to see Tmac playing for the Hawks too. :)

Why would we trade for potential, we are not rebuilding?????I think we should trade Luther Head and cash for Kyle Lowry since the Grizzlies have so many point guards and projected to pick up OJ Mayo

I can see Chicago trading the pick for an All Star but Houston won't be in on the deal.

Bulls management must realize by now that they suck at drafting talent. They would be better off trading the pick for an established but relatively young All Star to blend with all that young talent that can't seem to get things done. Although Rose seems like a sure thing so did Jay Williams before he was drafted and he was heading straight to bustville before his accident. The Bulls need to realize adding more high draft picks that don't pan out hasn't gotten them very far lately.
