b/c he hasn't done it the entire season. if he played like this the entire season, he would be in the conversation as a legit candidate to win, not just talked about (but that would be tough with yao playing).

but he'll be in the top 6 voting when it's all said and done, just like last yr.

well because up till now the rockets MVP was Yao.. He was the go to guy on this team but as of late obviously tmac realizes he's the man again and seems extra motivated.. Tmac is a top 5 player in this league when he wants to be.. I have no doubts about that...Ya Ya ppl are on lebron's **** but lebron isn't as deadly from anywhere on the court as tmac is... Tmac has range from mid court and his jumper is much better than lebrons'..Tmac just needs to play with passion everynight and i think that's been his biggest problem..Last night he played with passion..That's all there is to it... If you want it more than the other team, nobody is gonna stop him... Not lebron, not Kobe, not the spurs, not DAVID STERN himself!!

T-Mac has been great in Yao's absence. Kobe and LeBron have been just as good, and they've done it all year. That's why.

Our winning streak started when Tmac came back from his injury. He should be considered for MVP.

TMac has shined recently; but is not as great as
    • Kobe & LBJ,
    • Duncan & Ginoboli,
    • Garnett nor
    • Nash
off the top of my head, that's more than 5 > than TMac

Im pretty sure he was in 3rd place last year, or at least in the race to the mvp thing.

if you want your voice to be heard, start the MVP chants whenever TMac is shooting FTs at Toyota Center

He finished 6th behind Dirk, Nash, Kobe, Duncan and LeBron IIRC.

    Bingo.
Plus Tmac's injury which led to rumors of Tmac wanting a trade will cause less of a chance of him getting the MVP. But he'll move up closer to that number 1 ranking week by week because of Yao's absence.

I'l tell ya what, when the Rockets finish in the top 2 or 3 teams in the West(for the record,I see us winning the division, assuming Landry is OK)with no Yao......Tracy will deserve it.

CP3, Lebron, Kobe and even Ginobli are the MVP right now. The rest aren't even close. T-Mac should be consider but he's not even close to the top 5.

Kobe deserves it this year. The fact that he does not have an MVP, while peole like Steve Nash & Karl Malone have two, is a joke.

as much as we all hate him for his comments towards the rockets, you can't forget about the round mound of rebound during his playing days...
