...The only logical explination I can find for this is that V-span is typing away on the Rockets bench.
When DOESN'T Tracy feel the need to chuck? This major flaw of his is overshadowed by his greatness in so many other areas.
how can you not see he is hurting the team? the lakers are deep in penalty, all big men are in foul trouble, and hes chucking jumpers without running any plays? we will in all likelyhood win this game, but tmac needs to check his ego at the door, we dont NEED him to be kobe, and hes not as good a scorer as Kobe.
He's just having a bad night. But hes smart. He knows he can't make a jumpshot so hes getting fouled and is 10-10 from the ft line.
i can't rememeber the last time he had a good time when kobe's guarding him. another 20+ half time by kobe. sigh..
McGrady played very well in the first half, actually. His percentage is bad, but he's being aggressive, getting to the line, and he's creating for others. When he's matched up against Kobe defensively, he's done a solid job.
I've never understood the TMAC hate here. We Rockets fans should feel fortunate that we have him here in Houston. Even with his shooting challenges tonight, he is assisting his teammates, playing good defense, and attacking the basket. Layoff on him and let him continue to lead his team like he always does. Hell, we are 20 games over .500 because of him.
From my standpoint, Tracy's 10/10 from the FT line is like 5/5 from the field, which makes his 3/13 actually 8/18. I can handle a low FG% when he attacks the basket this much and makes FTs.
McGrady and Yao lack any semblance of leadership. Incredibly talented and gifted players, yet so soft...it's a tragedy, really. I am sorry guys, but at this point of the season I was looking for more than just a win. Winning season games doesn't do it for me, not after ten years of playoff futility. All I have been doing as of late is trying to identify this team's character, its sense of direction and duty, and I just don't see it. As I have said in the past, we're lucky that we're playing the Jazz in the first round. I am not saying the Jazz suck, I am just saying that they might be the only team in the top five in the West that are as mentally weak -- if not more so -- as we are.
I think I saw him with a laptop on one of the time outs.. by the way T-Mac.... 30 pts, (( 10 assists )) and 5 rebs is pretty decent...
McGrady should start the game taking his regular jumpshots, but if they don't go in, he MUST go to the basket. Plain and simple. He scores a much higher percentage when he goes to the basket, and even if he misses, he has a good chance of being fouled. So please, TMac, only Chuck can do the chuckin'!
