TMAC has gotten a lot of hate lately and I'm allowed to post a new thread now woohooo....But McGrady has been showing up lately instead of McLazy.

This guy is playing at his ALL-STAR lvl that he can. Taking it to the basket late game and coming off screens for open j's...I'm McLOVIN it.....give this man some credit for the effort he's been puttin out.

I have to admit I have been a McGrady hater for a long time............I think of all the potential we could have if he changed his game a little and he is finally doing it. Now he is playing like a team player and getting his team involved and looking for the higher percentage shots. I hope he stays consistent with it because it is working. His defense & Free throw shooting is still bad but he really has changed since his injury, I also believe that he has alot more confidence in his starting rotation now. It makes a big difference with Scola in the starting rotation. Good job T-Mac! I'm sorry for always bad mouthing you on this forum....I just love my Rockets! ;)

I will appreciate McLady more when he decides to hit FOUL shots more consistently and gets us out of the first round by making 9 of 10 free throws in the 7 game of a series.

nice.. I am so glad we have people like Tharges on this forum. I mean its one thing to diss someone when they are playing bad but we should also acknowledge and admit that they are playing great, these are the signs of true fans. I really don't want to see TMac traded, before Yao joined the Rockets, TMac used to be my favorite player, to have both of them in one team is really my dream team! So let go TMac and win in the playoffs!

Mcgrady has been playing a LOT better lately, but I still think he is merely coming back to his form early in the season where he was shooting and driving lights out, where he was averaging 28 ppg on 47% shooting. But the difference this time is that he has the team to back him up (that and we're actually starting to hit our shots now), so as a result his assists has gone up.

But if I could pick, I would still want the hot shooting and athletic (and fully healthy) Tmac when he was going the FTs often and actually set to driving consistenly (which he is just starting to do now), COUPLED with this red-hot team, and a consistent Yao.

But I ain't complaining now-I just want to enjoy this win streak (and hopefully atleast secure a playoff spot)

Tmac sulked for over half a year, and the team ignored him and went on playing.

Tmac looked around and realized "Hey, I am being left behind, and this is a pretty good team"

Tmac hoped on the bus, and the team took off.

Sometimes it takes a while for a player to realize it takes 5....

In the last four games he has found a balance of attacking the paint and shooting from the perimeter. I don't think it's a fluke because since the game at Cleveland, I've been getting a different vibe from him in the offense. It looks like he used the all-star break to reflect on the rest of the season and get mentally prepared to how he needs to play for this team to be at its full potential. His teammates stepped up and I think he wanted to do good by them. If he continues to play like this, I thank the team for their play ... for making him want to join them.

like a lot of these threads in here, this is a lil too premature....................................I'm happy that we're on our win streak, and now I am pretty confident that we're making the post season, BUT the West is still tough and we still haven't gotten out of the 1st round in over a decade.........I hope Tmac proves me wrong and comes up big and gets a past the 1st round, but I still have my doubts about whether he can do that or not..........

    you guys are hilarious.

I wonder back in the day if they would have a "Hakeem" Appreciation?

basically these threads are created because one player is sucking then finally they start playing well, then we have a 'appreciation thread'. you know the Juwan Howard appreciation thread after like an entire season of suckage, then he finally plays well.

Props to Tmac. he has been playing extremely well and is the main reason that we have won the last few games.

Oh, one more thing. Just imagine that a similar thread is started for Yao Ming, the OP would be called a *** left and right by the MORONS. These morons would call anyone a *** whenever their self-esteem is hurt simply because someone says something nice about Yao Ming. These morons are easy to be spotted.

If we don't get past the firs round, you're going to pin the blame on McGrady no matter how well he plays. Right?

It's quite possible we match up against an elite Spurs or Lakers team in the first round, which means we won't be favored. McGrady can have a great series, but if others don't also step up (as was the case last year) it won't matter.

Yaos been getting his credit and it widely acknowledged that he plays hard is is needed on this team...I started this thread because Tracy's been getting a lot of heat and its just giving him credit that he's putting out the effort that we expect of him and doing more than just scoring and takin 30 shots...

So this is just acknowledging his increase in effort since returning and helping the team..nothing more nothing less so don't take this thread out of context
