TMac and Yao are finally back on the 2k9 roster. T Mac still has an 88 rating and dunks on everyone and Yao gets every rebound and dunks on everyone. All is right in the world.
they've been on the roster all year long. You can take them off of the reserve list under roster management. No biggie
That's a big bummer for the OP I bet. I aways had Tracy and Yao in my lineup even when they where injured. Just go to team rotation and take them off the inactive list. duh! BTW I start James Flight White cause that guy can dunk it ever single time, and I'm not exaggerating he is a beast on the game. Here's my lineup for anyone who care to see: Artest-PG.Yes its cheesy as hell but it works as long as Tmac handles da ball. Tmac- SG. Could put him as PG and cause mismatches but he runs the break at SG Flight- SF. He's an auto-dunker and I swear that Tmac to White is the sickest play ever. I've done 10+ alley-oops with James in one game alone. Scola-PF. best defender and rebounder at this shot. unless you put Deke or Yao here but that would be stupid cause they both get tired so quick. Esp Deke. Yao-C. Possible the glitchiest player in the game. His shots are unblockable if you use if right. they updated the rosters every week til the NBA season was over. This was the last update. Well... What do you think someone is gonna do to you when they pick the CAVs? I just say, "Lebron, ...meet James White!"
Are those rosters any good? I always used what people created at Operationsports.com with sliders. Historically 2K's rosters are crappy but they do offer more accurate player models for players not originally on a roster (like Landry last year). The best rosters I have seen actually changed tendencies and ratings for every single player to make for a more realistic experience.
well they're free, they update weekly, and it's the official NBA 2k roster so I say its good. A lot of the ratings on their might be off but if you talk to the 2k Insider on his blog, who is the main guy doing the roster updates, he could possibly change somethings if you make a good case. I remember telling him that Yao Ming deserved a higher block rating than what they were giving him (80 if I'm not wrong) and the next update he boosted it to 85. All who uses the Rockets can thank me now when Yao blocks the **** out of someone. PS. I also remember someone complaining about how low Deke's block rating seem to be on his blog and the next update he boosted to 90. Now every since that the Rockets are "shutdown the paint" team with Deke and Yao on the floor.
