both headed to practice in practice gear this morning in Dallas. According to my boy , Rafer was the first one in the arena and TMac was walking fine. Since he isn't a member of the Rockets organization he isn't able to watch the Rockets shootaround (which just started 9 minutes ago) but that sounds like they might play tonight.
Is Rafer going to show any actual talent this time on the court? Or ride the bench while Lex Luther takes over?
Nah, that's cool. It was just a general question on if he is going to show up tonight or not.... Thanks for your updates, KAS13.
I can't answer to that. I wasn't there and my friend can't watch shootaround. They both went to practice in practice gear and he said TMac is walking fine (mind you he is a Mavericks fan so he isn't lying). I don't know if they are playing or not, I just reported what I heard.
I know. People are saying 610 is reporting they are both out so I'll be interested to see what happens.
I hope that's not the case. I don't put much stock in what 610 says but they could be right. Since I'm not there to see it I can't be sure.
This game would be tough to win even with McGrady in the game. I would rather rest him another game and then play him tomorrow when we start playing against the easier teams.
But why would they be in practice gear practicing the day of the game on the road sounds good in my eyes, if you are injured on a Van Gundy team you arent going to be practicing in morning drills day of game. I hope they are playing.
tmac warms up with the team before every game to see if he could play or not...it stands to reason that he could participate in some practice drills. both are out for tonight weather or not they were cleared to play in some practice drills. good to know they are coming along though.
I'm well aware of that. TMac was walking fine and bobbing his head with head phones on after practice according to my buddy. He may not be playing but it doesn't make much sense for him to be at shoot around if he isn't. Typically, players who aren't playing on the road don't get on the team bus until game time. This is something that I have seen many times. I'm not saying he's playing but it is unusual for two players to be at a shoot around (this isn't an off day practice) who aren't playing. Hopefully 610 and the Chronicle are wrong.
Every team has a morning shootaround unless they had a game the night before. I wouldn't want to have to be the person rebounding for this team. I think you have to sign a disclaimer to be a ball boy now.
