wow, nobody denies that a motivated Mac is an incredible offensive weapon. But with injuries and wavering motivation, this kind of play is hardly seen. If we can just get into the playoffs every year and allow tmac to turn it on in the postseason like this, we have a chance to advance. come back tmac.
Injuries are the only thing holding T-Mac back. If he never got hurt early in the season, there wouldn't be any "Trade T-Mac" talk. He was playing at an MVP level. Just like he was last season.
Shot selection looks similar to what I have seen in most other games he played in. He got the fouls called on the drives and his jumpers went in for the most part. Nobody complains about shot selection when it goes in.
man a lot of work went into making all those files Something I notice looking at these is the elevation he was getting on his jump shots in those gifs. That's the key to Tmac's game, if he can't jump comfortably (ie like when he has a sore leg) he isn't nearly as effective. Which is what we have seen the last 10 games or so in which he played.
People are really missing the point - by a mile. When Tracy is fired up and healthy, he's a beast. The problem is that he can't be counted on. To be a championship franchise player you need to be five things: 1. healthy, 2. talented, 3. tough (mental, emotional, physical), 4. motivated, 5. smart. How often is Tracy all five of those things, especially in the last two minutes of an important game?
