They didn't know if he would ever play again. They didn't know if he could ever even have normal use of that injured foot. He's back. In one of the most inspiring stories in the NBA this year, he not only came back...but blocked a key shot by Ellis at the 10 sec. mark to help preserve the game. Hat's off to TJones. Good show man, good show.
He's the best at those under the basket passes / dunks. Glad to have him back! 10-12 points a night from him is huge.
This game sets an unfair expectation about him in the next few games, I'm tho just happy he's out thier
I'm convinced that he wasn't really injured, and instead was hidden in the mountains of Cambodia honing his craft, only to reemerge when the moment was right to lead Houston to their rightful spot at the top of the Southwest Division. Terrence Jones. **** the Mavs.
i thougth he was done for the season after looking into what injury he had. his first game back and its like he never missed a game. good thing i picked him up in my fantasy team last week
T Jones is the X Factor because he brings So Much energy the Rockets have lacked since he got injured. He can be a matchup problem. Now all of a sudden we just got TALLER once Howard comes back. Maybe Golden State won't get all those rebounds next time we play them possibly in the playoffs.
Not to mention he's bulked up! Played decent D on Nowitzki for a couple of plays. Needs to get his stamina back. Glad to have him. Makes our frontcourt one of the best. Josh Smith is our worst big man and we're paying him the minimum. How far we've come.
Good point tho I think ya might've forgotten about Dorsey...but I understand because I almost did too! lol
Our team is really deep now! I live in Dallas and watched the post game - and it was mentioned that Dallas failed to 'beat the scrubs' as TJ, Smith and Brewer each scored in double figures off the bench. Haha - our scrubs are pretty damn good and can take this team to an elite level!
I've missed his shot blocking and above the rim plays. He adds athleticism that the Rockets sorely need.
And he's got handles and he runs the best pick n roll out of our bigs. He's the only one that moves the minute the pick or the slightest interference is set. Nice to see him back.
