Titans: Jeff Fisher Era Over? Several weeks ago . . . I would say no. After the VY issue . . . I figured if it were Jeff or VY . . . VY would be gone. Now. . . The team is not looking good. Last week I posted to Rusty Smith This week . . . Maybe Collins is rusty too. I think if the team nosedives the rest of the year . . . Adams may give Fisher his walking papers. No doubt he would get another job. I am just throwing it out there now. I am holding reservations. If they are now 5-7 and lost 5 straight and the following Schedule. * Indianapolis * Houston * Kansas City * Indianapolis They can conceivable lose all of those 1-3 is highly likely Rocket River
Yet I would take him in a heart beat as the Texans HC. Kubiak as the OC and bring in a new DC. No chance of it happening though..
No. Just no. Everything you hate about the Titans is a direct result of Jeff Fisher's personnel choices. Guys like Finnegan, Haynesworth, Moss, etc. are welcomed with open arms in Tennessee. I do not want that here.
No thanks on Fisherball. Cincy would be a possibility, but their ownership is worse than Bud Adams. They're both cheap and controlling.
What has bringing in character guys accomplished for the Texans? Gotta take risks sometimes. See Mike Vick.
Nope. His team has been plagued by injuries and with what he has, he can make the best of it and still not win. It's not him, it's the team. Young hasn't grown up. He's a headcase and bring problems on and off the field. The only thing he has done is beat the Texans when he's needed it, and even then, it didn't matter much. With a head coach with as much experience as Jeff Fisher has, you really think that Vince has the upper hand on who's leaving Tennessee? Dude, you like these troublemakers, don't you?
Only Six winning season, since his tenure started in 94. It's funny, how Vince has basically help save his job, twice? Yet, he doesn't want him anywhere on the field.
But only six losing seasons. Lots of 8-8s in there with Hands Wycheck. No flag-football offenses or will-call tickets for Elvis. Kenneth Stanley loves office politics, I think he's pulling an Alexander the Great.
Fisher and Young, neither are good for each other...... One is a proven winner as a pro QB, one is a proven winner as a pro coach. The coach won't change, and the QB needs someone to change the offense to take advantage of his unique skillset. Time for one of them to go....probably Fisher, IMO. It will be better for both of them if he goes. DD
Vince saved him from 2 more losing seasons. Remember Vince's first season and last season. The Titans were on their way to double digit losses until Vince took over.
As someone who doesn't like the Titans, the best case scenario is Fisher goes and VY stays. That would be the epitome of dysfunction. I hope Bud agrees with you.
